LOL the fact that Wladimir is using the GERMAN spelling of his name instead of VLADIMIR says alot of what he thinks of GERMANY . He has always represented Germany as his ADOPTED homeland.

Vladimir is Russian. His name is Volodymyr.

The Germans wanted Volodymyr and Vitali to Germanize their names to Walt and Will Klitschmann like Abraham, Sturm, Huck etc. They didn't.

Ukrainian uses the Cyrillic alphabet, their names have to be transliterated using the Latin alphabet, hence Wladimir in German or Volodymyr in English.
