Hi Floyd

I'm still a fan of you (I think) but I can't defend you to my casual boxing friends anymore. Manny Pacquiao beats top ranked welterweights regularly and they consider him the best fighter on the planet, I can't really blame their ignorance as it's a direct result of your inactivity.

I haven't started a thread on here in months (maybe even a year) because you have turned me off boxing. Most of my friends are MMA fans and they laugh at the fact that two top ranked fighters of a similar weight can decide not to fight each other.

I don't care what you say about your fighting motivations ($) or about your newly found cause to rid boxing of steroids, you owe it to the fans. The people who have supported you through thick and thin the people who went to see your fights before you became a superstar. The people who made you.

And the most frustrating thing about this whole fiasco is that you beat Pacquiao EASY. He is tailor made for you. Just fight him, beat him then retire, go make money in other ways, spend time with your family, do whatever you want. Just fight him.

As for me fighting Pacquaio, I just can't.
I have a flight booked to brazil and after that I will be in san dro pe France.


I just got back from the lady gaga concert and it changed my life.
No longer will I hide from the truth. As soon as I get back from my vacation, I will announce to the world that I am Gay.

I have a question for you my #1 gay fan.
Why do you want me to risk my life against a beast like Pacquaio?
He is too strong and powerful for me to handle. His speed is unreal and I know I can't beat him.

as boxing fans, all we pay for is entertainment. We just asked Floyd to entertain in the last 6 years in the welterweight division. We asked him to fight Margarito, Cotto, Williams, and Pacquiao. Granted, he did fight Mosley, but he was 38.

Instead, we got to see Floyd fight a junior welterweight who never looked good and in most peoples eyes, got beat by Collazo. We got to see Floyd fight a guy who had 9 losses. We even got to see Floyd fight a guy who had just lost his previous fight, against that guy with 9 losses. We even got to see Floyd fight a 2 fight lightweight, at welterweight.

As boxing fans, we have been severely disappointed. Not in Floyds skills, but for his refusal to make exciting matchups.
