Mosley? By himself? No. Did he "hurt" the sport with his performance? Sure.

There are others in the industry that collectively "hurt" the sport. Personally, I'd hold the promoter, distibuters and handlers accoubtable for making the fight materialize. HBO did the right thing dodging that disaster (granted revenues generated from this fight will most likely be high) but at least HBO's brand is not associated with it.

What would you expect from a 39+ year old fighter with a spotty record as of late fighting against a person who has been destroying his opposition for the past couple of years? It was a great marketing effort, but it was the wrong fight to do it for.

Bob chose Mosley because it was supposed to be a war.

That's what counts when you're drawing fans- he was doing the right thing but mosley didn't deliver and lost his balls somewhere.

a Pacquiao or Mayweather fight is boxing's equivalent of a superbowl or NBA Final. Where all the fans of the sport, and anyone caught up in the hype are watching, to see what the hype is about.

What Mosley did is the equivalent of a team giving up at halftime because the opposing team developed a lead.

Mosley's always been the kind of guy that if you hurt him, he gets stronger and he hurts you back- just like Pac is.

On paper this fight was supposed to be fireworks. I don't know what the hell happened to mosley- being shot doesn't affect your heart

            Ask Erik Morales.
