In all honestly I think bout boths were equally impressive. I give neither the edge as far as who looked better.

Against Floyd, Shane just couldn't find the openings. Against Manny, Shane didn't want to get knocked out and was scared of Manny's power.

I expected Floyd to be the more economical puncher of the two (in comparison to Manny) but the shocker, and there were two, was

      1. For people to say Manny has no defense, Shane has just as bad of a connect percentage in comparsion to Floyd, but also threw 200 less punches. I'm baffelled that not only did he land more on Floyd, but threw almost 200 more punches against Mayweather than against Pacquiao. Again if Manny is so open and has more holes in his defense, why did he throw almost 200 more against Floyd than against Manny?

      2. Floyd landing more than Manny, atleast on Showtimes punch stats. I know compubox has Manny landing 20-50 more, but for those who claim Floyd doesn't put punches together whereas Manny is know for his high pace and output, I'm shocked the gap was as close, and is Showtimes case, Floyd landed more.

I think the myth of Floyd not being offensive and Manny having poor defense, were pretty much put to rest IMO.

i think both have the capability to be defensive in manny's case and offensive in floyd's case but they prefer the other style over the other.

pac rather take some punches to give more of his own

floyd rather stay on the defensive and win comfortably with fewer output

Due to Mosley's different approaches in each fight, and the different styles of Floyd and Manny, the stats comparison really is meaningless. I look back at it as both Manny and Floyd completely shut him down in there. That is really the only stats that matter.

Both of them forced Mosley to retreat, which was kinda shocking to me, especially when Floyd made it happen. I never would have expected that. Manny's knockdown of Shane and his ability to shake him up constantly also shocked me as Shane has incredibly strong whiskers.

The contrasting fights tells me 2 things. Floyd can go offensive effectively if he wanted to, while Manny can put up a good defense if he put his mind to it...

Your statistics did not show that Pac landed less because Mosley is running. Floyd landed more because Mosley is not afraid to fight him.And your statistics did not show knockdowns which is scored 10-8.

                Wait who's stats are these?

Compubox had Mosley landing 66, not 86 punches on PAC

The only people I see trying to make this into some great victory are the *******s...everyone else was just disappointed to see a horrible fight as far as I can tell.

Floyd vs Shane was way more exciting, but still...Shane looked like he crapped his pants after Pac dropped him, he fought like a coward. I hope Pac vs Floyd gets made, boxing needs it!
