he did back in the days.

          so did arum.

          things have changed though.

fighters (the top draws) have more power than they did in the past.

that's why back then promoters were able to afford better undercards because the top guys didn't make as much (unless you're ali or leonard)

best look up all the classic fights arum promoted. you'd be surprised.

            with less?

arum has promoted some of the top names in boxing.

king did monopolize the heavyweights in the past but arum had his share of top fighters. especially the non-heavy top fighters.

Oh for sure, he made it into an art form.

King was a better manipulator though IMO.

i think heavyweights are dumber than the little guys.

king had more heavyweights back then.

King was the face of boxing because of those heavyweights (the hair and flags helped too)...Boxing has done similar PPV numbers for 20 years, most american households didn't even have cable 20 years ago and PPVs were doing similar numbers to what they do today.

Without great American heavyweights boxing has suffered somewhat.

So Basically Pac is Manufactured right? He is he face of boxing to the casual viewers and fanboys..... I mean ppl will always pay to watch him right, it doesnt have to be a competitive fight, If you go by what arum is saying as soon as manny built a following, l his fights have either been againt overmatched opponents or fixed....SIMPLE!
