Floyd refused an interview with Jim Lampley @ Ortiz/Berto fight

I'm sure everyone and their mother will give their opinion, biased or not, on this matter but it doesn't paint Floyd in positive light.

He won't even discuss boxing right now. He isn't fighting anybody anymore, I think he's done

Floyd doesn't want to fight anymore. Its obvious. He lost the passion BUT at the same time, is jealous of Pac's limelight.

I think he has personal issues with the trials going on hasnt he or you ignoring that , I think when his personal life levels out he will come back to boxing guns blazing .

I reckon he dont want to give interviews because they are so misconstrued by the media and the haters just ignore the truth to hate ,,, Id tell the world full of haters to *** off as well .

but that's all he has to do, is just be honest with people, something he has a problem with. not to mention his racist video against pacquiao last year, he needs to get his head straight

It's going to be too late - he's 34 and will likely be 35 before he fights again. If you ever see him in the ring again, it will be against lesser competition for big $$$. If he can't sucker HBO into it, he'll go to Showtime...

I think 2 things killed his desire to keep fighting: he's made too much money and Shane came too close to knocking him out.

And if you think he's close to going off the deep end now, god forbid he ever loses that "0". I'm a fan and feel cheated that he's wasting what little is left of his prime, but I've accepted that it's probably over and any comeback is going to be either a couple of unsatisfying victories or a defeat.

Ive seen some great interviews with Floyd , seen a lot of people say he is not what is portrayed as the villain in real life ,,,,, the thing is I dont judge him or anybody I dont know on what the media present , thats a road to nothing but prejudice , too much like my mother hating some actor so bad because of a role he played in some old movie lol ,,

you guys seem to like attacking on a personal level , I dont understand that ,, I judge them on what they do in the ring and what they do that directly effects ring performance ,,,, the rest is just a Hollywood production all aimed at somebody making money , I might have an opinion but I really dont give a *** about that personal stuff .

Fair call , I just hope he returns while he can because its just a shame that somebody this good walks away .

but the MEDIA didn't release the video of him spouting racist nonsense against pacquiao, HE released it! dude has lost his mind! how can u deny that given what I just said? no sane person would spout off the stuff he said in that video!

i dont think that its floyd not wanting to box anymore. i mean im sure he wants his paydays and all that. but i think its more he really doesnt want to fight pacquiao and hes kinda being pushed into that fight and he has his doubts about winning in the back of his mind, even though he boasts confidence which is a good thing.

as a boxing fan, i respect floyd but damn dude man up and fight! we shouldve seen a pacquiao/mayweather rematch last saturday! i mean come on mannnn. they shouldve been fought already and the rematch shouldve taken place by now. thats how i feel about them. cut the bull**** already! make history
