Let's not kid ourselves: Marquez-Pac III does NOT guarantee an exciting fight!

This will most like be Marquez's last fight and his biggest paycheck to date. Pac is so much better technically and stronger at 145, and Marquez will be inferior and will get dropped alot. I'm pretty sure Marquez's output will decrease dramatically and it will just be about collecting that big retirement paycheck and survival mode. It will be Shane all over again.

Marquez doesn’t belong anywhere above 135.

yeah it wouldnt be exciting fight. Pac will demolish Marquez inside 3 rounds. not enough power to even hurt Pac. JMM has been chasing Pac. end of his career once it happen.

Would Pac hit that much harder now than he did in 2008 in the 2nd Marquez fight?

Pac was 145lbs in the ring in the rematch.

He will probably be 147-150lbs in the ring if they fight a 3rd time.

Who knows, maybe a few extra pounds would make a difference?

I agree that Pac's skills now are better than in 2008, and he seems to counter more often, which could lead to the "punch you didn't see coming" hurt factor on JMM.

I wish at least they fought at 140lbs, but if it's at catchweight 145lbs, Marquez better weigh in no heavier than 140lbs or he'll be just as slow as he was against Floyd.
