Every 147 fighter Pacquiao fought would BEAT Marquez

I think Marquez is the least legitimate opponent for Pacquiao at above 140. Every welterweight Pacquiao fought would beat Marquez IMO. Clottey, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley and even a weight-drained De La Hoya would all beat Marquez, even in their current condition. Marquez is a great but he doesn't belong anywhere above 135.

His awesome boxing skills will be thoroughly ineffective at the higher weight class. Pacquiao's now fighting at a very comfortable weight but Marquez will again be out of his comfort zone weight-wise, just like when he fought Mayweather. I'll say it again, Marquez is the least legitimate opponent to date for Pacquiao at above 140.

People are only accepting this fight because of their history together and the fact they're clamoring for a trilogy, but the reality is Pacquiao vs Marquez will be a complete mismatch this time around mainly because of the weight issue.

I agree that styles make fights but Manny is a different fighter than he was 3 years ago. He's more dangerous and would brutalize Marquez at this weight and time.

But your basing jmm's only 1 performance two years ago at ww. He didn't have a tune-up to fight Floyd at a higher weight. Let's see how thetune-up goes first.

I'll answer in case this was for me. I'm basing this on the Mayweather fight and the first Diaz fight and the Katsidis fight. I just can't imagine him being competitive against Pac north of 135. I hope I'm wrong because that's pretty much who Pac will be fighting. Just another opponent. Why not face Bradley or Ortiz? That's right, they aren't old or tailor made for Pac.
