Comments Thread For: Vic Darchinyan Willing To Move Up For Arce Rematch

Elias Nassar, manager of IBO bantamweight champion Vic Darchinyan (36-3-1, 27KOs), has advised BoxingScene.com that his fighter is willing to move up in weight to challenge WBO super bantamweight champ Jorge Arce. In 2009, Darchinyan stopped Arce in eleven rounds in a super flyweight contest. The ringside doctor stopped the fight before the start of the twelfth after examining bad cuts above both of Arce's eyes. Last Saturday night in Las Vegas, Arce captured his WBO title with a twelve round stoppage of previously undefeated Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.

First of all, Arum will never let Arce to fight Vic again. He knows what will happen. The reason Darchinyan talks about the possible fight is because Arce, right after his win, expressed a wish to fight Vic again, probably he was overhyped lool.. Vic should fight Donaire to avenge his loss. Arce gotta fight Vazquez again !!!! but again Darchinyan vs Arce will be hellova fight

Its funny how Darchinyan has not breathed a word about Donaire especially after his recent win and now calling on Arce. He doesn't want anything to do with the "Flash"!!

Please check the boys resume before you start throwing around these types of things. So what if he doesnt, name one fighter around his weight he has NOT fought that was releveant other than maybe Montiel? Dude is a warrior and wish more were like him. Hes already fought "the flash" maybe he dont want no more, so what, he tried and he lost. I still want to see him fight, not like some of these other bums who dont test themselves or stink out the joint.
