  • Comments Thread For: Klitschko: It Will Be a Pleasure To Knock David Haye Out

Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye came face-to-face at Hamburg’s Imtech-Arena earlier today to formally announce their July 2nd showdown. Haye dismissed Wlad, calling the IBF, WBO and IBO holder a “fraud”. Wlad believes that the WBA boss is trying to build himself up going into the face-off, citing his own willingness to settle on terms as the key to smoking Haye out.

why doesn't wladimir cite the valuev fight as an indication of exactly how "exciting" Haye is? im still not even sure haye won that fight.

cleaner more effective punching, perfect ring generalship and superior defense? those are 3/4 criterias for scoring a fight the last being effective aggression, and valuev wasnt very aggressive himself and certainly not effective in his aggression.

haye won comftorably. as for excitement i think we can give him a break for having one less than exciting fight in his entire career, dont you? especially considering that he broke his right hand very badly early in the fight and was fighting a guy who outweighed him by 99lbs.

This has the potential to be a dissapointing match, but im somehow looking forward to it. No Floyd and Pac, but other fights to keep us entertained.

I kind of think haye was hoping to see fear in Wlads eyes but didnt see it. Wlad wasnt really expecting to see fear, but sensed that Haye was scared. Intersting observation.

Haye didn't break his hand you gullible idiot. That was YET ANOTHER LIE from Haye, it was a bullshit excuse to save face after his pathetic cowardly performance against Valuev.

Wlad destroyed the REAL WBA Heavyweight Champ undefeated Ruslan Chagaev, who clearly beat Prime Valuev in impressive fashion, unlike Haye who ran like a scared little girl from old shot crippled Valuev the whole fight and set the all time record for fewest punches thrown in a 12 round fight. That gutless coward Haye only threw 143 punches in 12 rounds...pathetic. It was the most boring fight of all time. Valuev got robbed. Even the biased British commentators had Valuev winning the fight. Grandpa Holyfield did better against Valuev than Haye did.

Wlad is the rightful WBA Heavyweight Champ.

Haye is the definition of a paper champ.

Valuev has no power; if haye was weary to be aggressive with valuev, wtf is he gonna do once he feels wlad's power? who hits twice as hard, and is TEN TIMES as fast. Valuev is, by definition, a cripple. he has a medical condition that would qualify him for disability in united states. lol, perfect ring generalship? i thought to be a ring general you had to be in command? it looked like haye had no clue what to do other than run around and wing LITERALLY 2-5 punches per round. Valuev controlled more roudns with his jab.

oh yeah, haye never proved his hand was broken; never cited any dr.'s. i guess mayorga also "broke" his hand too, huh? hahaha

You can't be sure of too many things in this world, but one thing you can be sure of is that Wladimir Klitschko has absolutely no fear of cruiserweight star David Haye.

Valuev got burned, which maybe was karma as he has gotten some questionable decisions, but no way did Haye do enough to win Valuev's belt.

Valuev summed it up when he said after the fight, "I didn't know I was going to a track meet."
