Floyd is supposedly the "chosen one" yet he needs a tune up? Its not like he's been on the injured list, dude PURPOSELY chose to not fight so he can get a tune up. All this "there isn't anyone for Floyd to fight" ***** needs to go out the window. Manny is fighting bums and decent fighters and Floyd can't even muster up the courage to fight at least once a year.

At least Marquez has the respect and dignity to call it how it is. Floyd is going to call Ortiz the best 147-pounder in the world other than himself. PS im surprisd there isnt a thread about Floyd fighting Oritz yet. It's posted on boxrec for them to fight in Sept. Floyd signed this fight under the radar to minimize the uproar he's going to hear about not fighting Manny.

Floyd has had just 1 fight in the last year and a half and he's only had 2 fights in the last 3 and a half years but he cant get a tuneup before facing the best fighter in the world who people are calling an ATG? Not to mention that tuneup might be against a young explosive lion.

Someone keeps bringing up Mosley. Again, Mosley had been much more active then Floyd overall. You keep hanging on the JMM fight that most of you same people called a joke and before that Floyd had been off 2 years. Dont act like Shane was so rusty compared to Floyd because that was a joke.

Furthermore Shane just went through a full training camp for the Berto fight so its not like he was doing nothing. He did everything but get in the ring. It wouldve been like Floyd going through a whole camp for JMM but not getting in the ring. He still wouldve been fine.

You can say alot of different things but this one doesnt fly and you know it. If Pac had 1 fight in the last year and a half, and only 2 fights in the last 3 and a half years then he would also take a tuneup before fighting a Mayweather who's been fightin non stop
