Juan Manuel Marquez vs Shane Mosley at WW, who wins?

The version of Marquez that faced Mayweather vs the version of Mosley who faced Pacquiao.

The version of Mosley who faced Pacquiao couldn't pull the trigger and was able to avoid most of Manny's offense simply by utilizing average ring movement.

Marquez knows how to cut off the ring and is an excellent counter-puncher. Every time Mosley throws those weak punches, Marquez would counter him with effective combination's. Mosley, at this point in his career, is only a fraction of the boxer that Mayweather is. I see no chance of Mosley out-boxing Marquez over 12 rounds. He was able to take flush shots from Katsidis, who hits harder than the version of Mosley that faced Pacquiao, so he would have no problem trading with Mosley in the pocket.

I think Marquez sweeps every round with a possible KO in round 12 if Mosley is gassed and tries to clinch. Marquez has excellent uppercuts which would have done damage to Mosley if he tried to clinch with such exhaustion as he did against Manny in the final two rounds. Juan Diaz, Casamayor, and Katsidis were all TKO'd by Marquez when they tried to clinch while compromised.

Mosley. He wouldn't be scared of JMM like he was with Pacquiao and probably win a S/D. JMM is best at 135 right now, 2 divisions higher and he's no good.

Explain how a shot version of Mosley who can't pull the trigger, who doesn't even throw punches, can win against a technician who went 24 rounds with Manny in his prime?

Mosely would win. This fight would be at Welter and JMM simply is not fast enough. He is a technicien, but he requires his speed and accuracy.

Mosely will always have power, and when Juan Diaz can hurt you, then Mosely can easily. JMM had to war it with Katsidis whom is flat footed and pretty much an easy target brawler.

I can see Shane being too big, and strong. He won't fear JmM's power.

I would consider it an upset if Marquez lost. He's superior in every way to this version of Mosley. I see no way the version of Mosley in the ring with Pacquiao could win any exchanges with Marquez. If he runs, Marquez knows how to cut off the ring and press the attack.

The Mosley in the ring with Pacquiao had less power than Katsidis.

Marquez loses enough at 147 that Mosley beats him. Mosley wouldn't fight a counter puncher like Marquez, who doesn't have any power at welterweight, the same way he fought Pacquiao.

Stop using the triangle theory, it's proven time and time again to be complete BS. JMM-Pac II was 3 years ago at 130, that was not a prime Pacquiao. Marquez is also a counter puncher, so if Mosley doesn't pull the trigger what does JMM counter?
