this shane mosley is one we have seen a number of times before, he blows hot and cold.

i dont think so, floyd is a defensive master and he did not go down.
shane on the other hand did go down, got up and ran.
and manny couldnt finish the job and all that talk of upstaging floyd should have made him eager to finish shane but, he couldnt.

Exactly. 'Slick black fighters' = lotsa holding, clinching. Can't believe the amount of holding Shane did in the fight. Every glove tap was like, "We're friends, okay? Don't hurt me too much, Manny." The irony of it all was the Shane's entrance song by LL Cool J was 'Mama said knock you out.'

Mexicans and Latinos in general are often go-forward types that engage toe-to-toe and makes fights more exciting, like the Arce-Vazquez fight in the undercard. Hope the fight with Marquez pushes through. They're dubbing it the 'Thrillogy'.

Shane Mosley took the envelope from Bob Arum "Pulp Fiction" style and didn't tell Manny. Shane had many opportunities to land on Pac with combinations and he mostly hesistated or threw around him. Looked like Shane was instructed not to hurt Pacquiao. It's strange that Clottey and Mosley both clammed up in the ring? Makes you think that they really had the goods to win and bob didn't want any mistakes happening. Pac fans will say that I am hating but after watching that fight and Mosley performance you have to question what really went down. Even at 39, Mosley could have done better than that. I wouldn't be surprised if Bernard Hopkins smacked Mosley. He totally sold out to make Pac look great. I have been watching boxing for a long time and Mosley career as well and he fought back more against Floyd and Mora than he did against Pac and Pac wasn't even moving or using defense, which would have made Shane landing a punch more easier. Arum gave Shane the instructions "Make it look like your scared of Manny and get knocked down in the 3rd like the video game fight simulation" Vasquez Jr/Jorge Arce was a waaay better fight.
