Who should Miguel Cotto fight next in September?

If he doesn't get to avenge and beat the ***** outta Margarito if not cleared by his doctor yet?

Honestly I don't like him at 154. I think he's faster, quicker, stronger, more explosive, and has more power at 147. No shame in losing to Pac especially when you put up the biggest fighter around that weightclass. Pac looked kinda human the other night so I wouldn't mind a rematch.

160 would be fn terrible. If he's going to whoop Chavez's ass it needs to be at 154 or that fight shouldn't happen because Chavez ain't ***** anyway. I think maybe Martinez would be great at 154. at 160 thats murder, he at least has a little chance at 154.

Cintron, Mosley, MIke Jones, Berto, and Ortiz are all good options too if he pursures them at 147 except beat Cintrons pussay ass any weight.

All of the above would be good fights with the exception of Shane. Canelo and Angulo would be great too.

Chavez at 154 would sell, but there isn't much credit to gain there.

Martínez is too much for Cotto. It could be interesting because Cotto has that great jab but Martínez has looked phenomenal in the past few fights. Martínez would probably win 8 or 9-3. This is assuming it's at 154. At 160, Cotto gets stopped. Not KO'D, stopped.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ortiz, but Cotto ain't coming back to 147.

Berto? Nah. Let Berto earn his payday. I wouldn't seeing that fight but Berto does NOT deserve it. I'm just calling it like I see it.

Mosley doesn't offer interest from boxing fans. I'm sure his recent performances have to do with him being in there with the best two fighters in this generationo, but he didn't seem hungry, and because of that, I don't think he offers much at this point. Pass.

Pacquiao...well, Cotto was the MOST competitive out of all the non-competitive fighters Pacquiao has faced in the past 2 years. A rematch at 154 might be interesting if Cotto keeps his cool and sticks to the jab, but if I had a gun held to my head, I'd bet on Pacquiao winning yet again. I don't see how Arum can sell this fight. Everybody would be like, "What?! That guy got beaten up and got a rematch?! Boxing doesn't make sense!" I'd love for Cotto to get another chance, but it's not happening and, objectively speaking, it shouldn't.

It's down to either Chávez or Martínez at 154 and if by a strange miracle Cotto can make 147 comfortably (which I doubt), he could go up against Ortiz.

Any of those three are fine.

Oh! I forgot Cintrón...meh. Cintrón at 154 would be a decent scrap. I'd watch it. But it isn't like the fight is something you'd die to see.
