If Manny's opponents utilizes movement, then Manny will get tightness in his legs, blisters on his feet, and his socks will suddenly become itchy, just like against Morales, Marquez, and Mosley.
Manny admitted this when he said "I had a problem with my legs getting tight, just like against Marquez". He admitted that by fighting fighters who utilize no movement, such as Margarito, David Diaz, and a drained zombie Oscar, that he has no problem with his legs. If you noticed against Cotto in the final rounds when he was running away, Manny looked annoyed as if his legs were starting to cramp. Manny complained last night that he expected Mosley to stand still for at least 5 rounds.
Here's a video, below, of Freddie Roach stating Manny had feet problems in the past against mobile fighters.
Historical summarization of Manny's quotes regarding his legs...
"I had blisters on my feet"
"I wore the wrong socks, my shoes were not comfortable"
"I had problems with my legs tonight, just like against Marquez".
"I expected Mosley to stand still for 5 rounds"
"I like to fight toe to toe"
Could this explain Manny's constant request for catch-weights against bigger past-prime flat-footed fighters, which are effective in killing his opponents legs and punch resistance? Is this why Manny refused to fight Guzman (in 2004) and Raheem (who dominated Morales in 2005), and now admits he "Doesn't care to fight Mayweather" despite his fans begging for the fight?
That was the best move his handlers ever made.....at that stage in their careers at that weight Guzman would have won every round had they fought.

Clottey Camp:
There are reports that Manny Pacquiao suffered some leg pains in training for his March 13th fight against Joshua Clottey. Could it be that at 31, Pacquiao is starting to show the ugly ravages of age? It would be the first fighter that got old all of a sudden. Small fighters like Pacquiao often have shorter careers than the fighters at the upper weight classes. Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz doesn’t think the leg pain is a big deal. In an article at Insidesports.ph, Koncz says “It’s nothing serious just cramps.”
Pacquiao Taken to Hospital for Foot Pain
September 25, 2010
On Friday, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao was taken to a local hospital after complaining of foot pain while working out at the Florde Gym, according to news from Abs-cbn news. Pacquiao had an MRI done along with blood tests to try and figure out what the problem is. The results were inconclusive. The doctor couldn’t find anything wrong with Pacquiao other than some swelling.
...
Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach had this to say about it: “It’s not an injury we’ve never had before. We’ll try to get it out of the way as soon as possible. We know how to deal with it. It’s just a little pull probably. But he moved pretty well today. He beat the sh** out of me. He [Pacquiao] got me winded.”

It's been a minor recurring problem in their last few camps but the Mosley fight was the first time it cropped up in the ring. It's not something that came out of the blue as an 'excuse'. Pacquiao was clearly nowhere near as mobile as usual and it had nothing to do with Mosley's running, Cotto has superior footwork and speed to Shane and a healthy Manny had no trouble getting to him and beating him down when Miguel was in retreat mode... but carry on with your b.s.
