With respect to both fighters, the fight was a stinkfest. I did not enjoy it - I found it very boring. Shane shouldn't have been in there in the first place, so I can't say I blame him for not standing there and taking a pasting. He did what he had to do to keep his best interests in mind.
Pacquiao could not deal with the movement - he has never been able to deal with movement. He struggles a great deal with fighters who have movement.
He failed to deliver the knockout that team Pacquiao talked about leading up to the fight, and the fight was getting booed.
Pacquiao is a notorious excuse maker and this was his way of trying to justify not knocking out Shane when in reality, he just couldn't find a way. Shane kept him at a distance with the jab, and Pacquiao was reluctant to lunge forward at risk of catching a big right hand.
I find his claims of stiffness in his legs hard to believe.
