Marquez vs David Diaz is just ******...

Seriously...he's basically fighting a C class, southpaw version of Juan Diaz. David Diaz got destroyed by Holt, Pac and Soto outboxed him. And the sad part about this fight is, it'll make Pacquiao-Marquez III look like an even bigger mismatch because he's not gonna look anywhere near as good as Pacquiao did. Diaz will probably get some good work in before he falls around the 8th or 9th round.

What Marquez needs to do is move up to 140 and fight a decent opponent there so he can get used to the higher weight. If he fights Diaz in July and Pacquiao in November (let's say at 144), he basically has four months to bulk up 9lbs! He'd be in worse shape than he was against Floyd, because at least then he had like 6 months.

I say fight Judah or Bradley for the 4th title, then Pacquiao for the 5th. At least after one of those fight this matchup will look somewhat legitimate. Right now I say a one sided 6 round massacre for Pac.

But it's David Diaz. He's a C class fighter. And it's a lightweight. That eliminates his chance of getting used to the welterweight division. Judah and Bradley would be better because they are tough, but winnable fights. I mean if he can't beat them, then he sure as hell can't beat Pacquiao. Not to mention he'd be making history.

I mean if he's gonna fight a bum, at the very least make it a JWW bum...Not some one dimensional, come forward, light punching, brawling lightweight who would probably get beaten by any top 10 lightweight. Heck, I'd pick the top Featherweights to beat him up. Not to mention there's no way in hell he's beating him worse than Pacquiao did.

David Diaz is NOT a southpaw version of Baby Bull.

That's not to say that Diaz is a quality fight for Marquez.

It's just to say that making dumb statements is dumb.

Then props to him. It shows that Pacquiao-Marquez at 135 would have been great. But what does that for him when he has four months to bulk up 9lbs and and prepare to fight somebody 100000000 times better than Diaz? Nothing. The only thing Diaz and Pacquiao have in common is the fact that they are southpaws.

I wasn't really comparing their styles. Guess that was a bad way to say it. I said he's a C class version, meaning a club fighter. The Baby Bull is a smarter, more active and conpetitive fighter.

I agree, I think he should use Zab as his tune up at 140 for Pac.
