Not since 2008 have we seen Pacquiao look so confuse, frustrated, and gun shy as we saw last night.

So what you will about Mayweather performance against Shane, except for in round 2, Mayweather never seemed frustrated, confuse, and timid to attack Mosley. As a matter of fact. The impressive thing about that victory was how Mayweather completely control, and dominate Mosley to point where ****m Richardson threatened to stop the fight. Not once did ****m threaten to do that in this fight.

Funny how Mosley didn't come close to winning a round.

I watched this fight with a mixed group of people... A lot of casual fans in there as well that knew just enough... One of the misconceptions of some white guys was that black people hated Pacquiao because he makes mayweather look bad.. I said yes that must be it..

According to team Pacquiao, he had leg cramps, over-trained a little bit , dehydrated, stiffness in his left front calf which happened even in his first fight with Juan Manuel Marquez. ALL AFTER THE FACT. If he would have KO mosley would we heard any of this come out of the pacquiao camp.

Before the fight this was the best camp since cotto!!

All the excuses do not take away from the simple truth that Pacquiao has trouble with Movement. Add to the Pacquiao footwork last night was remarkably terrible last night. WHY?

He came in a straight lines, very few in and out combinations, and feinted more than a fat ***** in heat.

The difference is, he did not want to hurt Mosley, he was in first gear 95% of the fight. Even so,he had Mosley ready to go like 5 times during the match. It should have been obvious that Pac was not moving around like he normally does...I think he did have some type of issue with his legs.

It is so funny that people say Manny looked like trash and what not. That says tons about the guy when people expect him not only to win EVERY FIGHT but he is expected to win by KO. Otherwise, even if he scores a KD and wins a shutout, that in itself is just as bad as a loss. So for a one dimensional slugger that Floyd could easily dispatch of in 3 rounds (as I have seen in some threads today) to have these expectations set for him......that just shows me that people realize just how good he is- whether or not the people making these statements would admit it or not.

Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter. A Hall of Fame fighter, hell even an All time great fighter for what he has done in his ERA!

However, Everytime he looks bad in a fight he has excuses.

The truth of the matter is Manny fought a timid fight. Pacquiao fought frustrated, confuse, and timid to attack. His footwork was awful. He got controlled by Mosley weak JAB! And he was scared of Mosley right hand.

It was apparent from round 2 that Mosley was only there for a pay check, and Pacquiao still could not get him out of there. All he had to do was pick up the pace and take the risk necessary to Knock him out BUT HE COULD NOT DO IT. He excuse was Mosley ran from him. Well Cotto ran from you too Pacquiao and you knock him out.
btw, coming to last night fight. Mosley had not WON A FIGHT IN 2 YEARS! And was 39 Years Old!

Mosley's jab didnt keep him at bay... neither did a counter right, he threw maybe two counters the whole fight. Look at the punch stats, Mosley refused to engage he was on his backfoot the whole time and retreated every time Manny was about to come in.

its hard to look good horus when the other guy is not throwing shots to open himself, also running away and staying at a range while not engaging

mosley was afraid of pac but he was not afraid of floyd, hence him trying to win vs floyd and attacking him. if he did the same vs pac, he would have been knocked out


of course it did more harm but thats because boxing fans are fickle and just want to see the best go down. if floyd fights cautiously like mosley did then manny will coast a decision, if he uses his right and tries to counter which mosley did not do (he only used his left), then manny will ko him

thats why the fight will never happen, its a bad match up for floyd and he knows it

I am using control as a relative word when I am describing what happen last night.

Roach had to tell Pacquiao round after round to stop showing this guy respect and pick up the pace.
Yet Pacquiao did not do it.
WHY?

Because of Mosley jab, AND pacquiao fear of Mosley right hand.

Never have we seen Pacquiao so scared to attack.
So when I say Mosley "control" Pacquiao.

I am speaking to the fact that most of the fight was fought at Mosley's pace, and at Mosley's distance. If Mosley was worth a damn and not 39 years old. He would have capitalize on it. But after all he hasent won a fight in 2 1/2years.
