The difference between him fighting mosley and him fighting mayweather is this

Mosley has power to knock some1 out, pac wasnt risking it

Mayweather can counter pac as much as he wants....but he aint gonna be knocking him out

So pac will run straight thru mayweather to land some bombs....

I can't believe Manny failed to "leave" up to the expectations. .

But yeah, Manny deserves criticism for a lackluster fight because it was Manny who chose to fight Shane. Shane did the best he could. He just couldn't pull the trigger anymore.

If Floyd can handle Manny's power it will be an easy night for him. But he can't though.

You overlook the fact that Mosley fought a completely different fight against Pacquiao to the one against Mayweather. He tried to follow the Marquez formula against Pacquiao, turning into a counter-puncher, and the Castillo formula against Mayweather, being a pressure fighter.. Makes a MASSIVE difference IMO.

The one thing you failed to mention is how once Mosley got KD and felt Pac's power, he literally ran and refused to fight for the rest of the night. How do you fight someone who's backpeddling all night. Given the circumstances, Pac did all he could and pitched a shutout. It wasnt pretty or action packed, but that wasnt Pac's fault.

Cotto ran from Manny too, that didnt stop Manny from knocking him out.

The difference is Manny for the first time in a long time fought a thinking man's fight with Mosley. And was gun shy.

Mosley was able to keep pacquaio at bay with his weak excuse for a jab.
Mosley confused pacquiao just simply circling around him. As a result pacquiao never establish an consitant rhythm in his attack. He had burst of combination, and spent the rest of his time getting frozen by mosley’s jab.

Like I said before why was Mosley's jab so effective?

Funny how the only response is to flame.
However the truth of the matter is. Last night Pacquiao did more harm to himself than good.

so mayweather looked better? Mosley had him on ***** street. he really didn't want to engage pacquiao but he was actively engaging mayweather. Pacquiao pretty much shut out mosley, mayweather didn't. I'm not a fan of either fighter but, mayweather is doing more harm than good to himself than pac has done. He's entertaining, has a likeable personality, is a public servant, and fights pretty much anybody. Plus at least mosely had fought recently when he fought pac, he was almost out for 2 years.
