Pacquiao is too dumb and can't leave. He signed with GBP and I think because of that, Arum and GBP have control over Pac.
When does Manny's slave contract expire?

This IS ridiculous. Manny story, his myth, his legend, whatever you want to call it, has turned into somehting MASSIVE. While in my opinion, he does play it safe(so does FMJ) and technically, im not that impressed with him, I won't ignore that he is a flat out great fighter, very exciting(in most fights) and he finds a way to win. That's the bottom line. The only reason that FMJ can compete with him in the popularity department is if you combine negative and postive popularity. Meaning, there are lots of people that love FMJ and buy his PPV, but probably lots more that buy it just to see someone shut him up. Floyd might be 50-50% pop to unpopular while Manny would probably 80-20% or 85-15%. In this regard though, Pac is not smart. He is paying 27% to Arum for what? He could go the same route as Mayweather( buy out his contract and self promote), work with TR, give them 5-10% and keep the rest. If he had done that a while ago, as much as he fights, he probably would've easily surpassed ODLH career earnings. For someone who's ultimate goal is to become president of the Philippines and to wipe our povertry, he makes horrible business decisions.Comment

Have wondered this aswell, I think pac has been brainwashed to think he's getting the best deal from bob arum.. My guess is he's fine with the money he makesComment

Yeah, I was going to make this point, but I don't know the whole deal about how much percentage Manny gives to Arum from fights and now his endorsement deals.
But I do know that if Manny went under his own promotional company, it would be complete failure since his own team is just a large group of incompetent hanger on friends (which is clearly evident in his MPBoxing Videos). They've lost him millions of dollars in endorsement deals. Koncz is also to blame if people want to go that route.Comment
