He was there to fight, at least in the beginning. What happened was he realized Manny could hurt him and was simply too fast and unpredictable. I mean Naseem gave him a game plan, which is fine and dandy when you are given the opportunity to exercise that plan, but Manny is tough to deal with in there.

Manny is simply a very rare breed of fighter. His Speed, Athleticism, Power, Angles, Combinations and Aggression can leave an opponents mind racing. There are many in here who will try to discredit him for one reason or another. That will fall on deaf ears in the end though, because history books will treat him very well.

shane was fighting scared definitely but part of me thinks that Naz wanted Shane to box him rather than fight him.
He must have stressed to be very wary of getting caught in exchanges cause thats where pacquiao does most damage but Naz's strategy I guess in Shane's mind meant doing very little to set up any kind of sustained offense and spending most of hs time on the back foothe defense was much better than i expect but he seemed scared to really let his hands go maybe he can't pull the trigger anymore

maybe his performance against margarito made us think he had more left than he did but what was most worrying was the hunger to win that he showed he still had in the Mora fight was totally gone from this one

Shane's performance in the ring was the most disappointing I've seen his Audley Harrison.
