Mosley goes in a warrior, comes out a ???

Everyone that I know was saying Pac by KO, with the idiots saying round 1 and the more reasonable folks saying about 8. I was telling them, Pac will sting him and then have trouble knocking out the taller man who keeps both gloves up high and walks backward continuously. I just thought Shane would try to box his way out like Cotto did until the 12th round, not just back up and block high with both hands like you do in the gym when you want to avoid pain and punishment. Shane was using all of his veteran savvy to avoid the big shot last night

I'm surprised by a lot of what I'm reading on here, I knew going into it Shane didn't have what it takes to give Pac as good a run as say Miguel Cotto did, but what the ****. Shane mosley is a grown man that looked the fans right in the face and said I'm GONNA LEAVE IT ALL IN THE RING, not a quote or anything but you get my point. So how can we, as fans, sit back and say WELL IT WAS A **** FIGHT ON PAPER SO WHAT DO WE EXPECT? that's bull****, I know what it looked like on paper and I know Shane looked terrible the last time out, but the man himself looked right in the camera, AS IF TO REASSURE US, that NO I WILL NOT FLAKE OUT ONCE I GET IN THE RING. I paid money because I trust Shane's word and he's never stunk it out in the past, he had trouble with Cotto but kept fighting. You may criticize this, but Shane has knocked out others and he's a coward for not taking his licking like a man. He's been beat down in the gym, lots of fighters have. Me personally, I've been hit with neck snapping shots and been put out. If you got the balls to knock out another man, when it comes time for you to get yours I believe your instinct should be to go down with courage rather than run like a coward. If you can't get out of the way, either throw in the towel or fight like a man.

If it was a real battlefield and they are fighting with bayonets, then I would say yeah save your life but this is just boxing. I'm not asking the man to sacrifice himself here, he's not going to die and he knows how to take a punch. I'm just asking him to give the sport a fair shake that always gave him a fair shake, and think about all those fighters that never made half the money Shane did in his career. He knocked those guys without a care and they never thought to run because they had courage. I'm saying you can't blame matchmaking for this one, Mosley pretty much gave his word he would go in warrior and go out a warrior

Obviously, Manny is beast of an athlete and he represents best what this sport is supposed to be. I love clever boxers and they have there place, but give me a guy who can make me say WOW WHAT A FIGHTER and NOT WOW WHAT CLEVER DEFENSE and I will be telling my kids this was the greatest fighter I ever saw

Mosley is a warrior.. One night does not erase a legendary career... Mosley was in over his head against Pac.. A younger mosley vs. Pac would have been a 50/50 fight.

This was the same Shane Mosley from the Mora fight and rounds 3-12 of the Mayweather fight. I don't get why so many fans are surprised that a guy who hadn't won a fight in two and a half years looked bad in the ring.

Did you read my post? Please respond to my points if you're interested in the topic

Looking at his whole career, yeah it would be wrong to say Mosley is not a warrior HOWEVER the day after a fight that he "stunk-out" I will not being calling him a warrior. Would Erik MOrales call him a warrior after last night? Thats how you know!
