    Mayweather never hurt shane

but after 3 rounds of tasting pacquiao's power and ferocity, shane didn't want any more.

This is one of the reasons why no matter how much floyd dominated shane, I don't think Pac Vs Floyd is an easy fight to predict.

Because Pac has too many intangibles. Sure Floyd sets people up like a master, and he's accurate and a genius in the ring, but Pac is a tornado, and he wants to take your head off every second of the fight. No matter how much technically better Floyd is, I'm still not counting Pac out. Pac is also the kind of guy that gets stronger the more he gets hurt, and shane never hurt him. The more Mayweather jabs him and gets him with his right hand lead, the deeper he goes into the whole he's digging.

Anyone who counts someone like Pac out doesn't watch enough boxing IMO. Behind all the hype and excuses, this is a special fighter we got here.

I think Mayweather was closer to stopping Shane based on his accuracy, though. Mayweather's accumulation of accurate punches throughout the fight could have been enough to warrant a stoppage, had he pressed the action a little more. Yes, Manny got a good knockdown and had Mosley hurt, but aside from that wasn't doing much.

he wasn't doing much because shane got scared after he tasted pac's power.

First from the body shot in round 2, and then that straight left that took everything out of him.

I agree with you that pac is a special fighter but what will he do once mayweather gets on his bike? pac doesn't do all that well against slick boxers who move alot (marquez, mosley and parts of the cotto fight) thats why im so sure mayweather will beat him.

          last nights fight was boring

          but so was floyd/shane

floyd is all on d and pac will just rack up some punches

it looks like most fighters dont have time to be offensive with pac cause pac was already offensive 3 seconds ago

even if floyd counters, his shots are hard enough

ya theyre both fast but at the end of the day on the cards, fast offensive > fast everything else

pac in ud unless he pushes hard

pac will get atleast one KO in there somewhere too

I think it'll be a good fight should it happen. Sadly, it probably never will though.

Pacquiao hurt Shane as bad as he was ever hurt in the 3rd round and he wasn't even trying. He had Mosley hurt numerous times after that. And Mosley was smart to use his legs and clinch. No body wants to get knocked out especially when you've never been knocked out before and have a reputation as a ATG chin.
