I know most **** on Margarito, but atleast he tried to win........

Margarito showed a lot of heart and balls. Fought tough for 12 rds and looked like he was hit with a sledgehammer. Cotto didn't fight as hard and retreated the final 3rds but he was in bad shape, tried to fight and paid for it too. That second uppercut knockdown was a picture perfect shot. U leave knowing those two tried and paid for trying so u can't be mad at them. Mosley did a Clottey. Those two guys should be ashamed of themselves. Tried to not get their brains bashed and finish the fight looking pretty and on 2 feet.

I am not a fan of Margarito but I respect his work ethic and the fact that he always comes to give his best effort to win. Its a shame he did what he did and tarnished his legacy and career.

I know this guy is the but of all the jokes around this site and most hate his guts, but outta all of Manny's recent opponents, he is the only one that kept trying to win from rounds 1-12. Hopefully Marquez comes to fight, as I just can't see JMM not wanting to bring it for 12 rounds.

Well said Marg came to fight and win and tried to do so for 12 hard round, props to him.

Manny has face some fighters that came to fight got hit and then just wanted to survive, some came to fight, but quit when it got too tough, some that didn't come to fight at all only to survive, but you even have one fighter that will not even come, whether it be to fight survive or even say hello.

My thing is atleast try to win. Margarito, regardless of what was happening, kept trying to win even if he was busted up and hopelessly behind. He has been the only guy I see take chances and not mentally give up against Manny.

With that said, I know for sure Marquez will bring it and hopefully that's the fight we see next.
