Mosley vs Pac/Floyd are two completely

Different fights, and of course everyone is trying to compare them.

    The two main differences are:

Floyd fight: Shane was chasing Floyd most of fight trying to land that big punch. He was losing every round except maybe the 3rd where he hurt him, so he had a punches chance. But Floyd dominated the distance and tempo of the fight. (Chasing)

Pac Fight: Shane was hurt and wasn't fighting to win only to survive (backing up). Pac was dominating aswell but he was going chasing shane trying to get the KO.

The similarities are with Shane himself:
    Not listening to his coach
    Gassing
    Losing confidence
    No mean streak

Once again fanboys not boxing fans are making 100 topics flaming each other without taking into account that these fights were completely different.

another difference is that pac is way too nice to mosley. pac didn't hit mosley when mosley backed out of the clinches, wifebeater did.

Pac did seem to want the knockout but both spent at least a round touching gloves. I was watching with some guys from Chicago and New Orleans and the way there mentality through the fight was amazing.

Thats not what happen at all. 1st off Mosley landed the punch in the 2nd round, not the 3rd and Floyd was coming forward the vast majority of that fight. Even Manny Steward was talking about how Floyd is trying to walk him down and fight him. Stop making things up

Let's keep it real, if Manny would have destroyed Shane like he should have and could have, then those same guys would be saying you can't compare those fights because there two different styles.

I can see people looking at the little things Manny did wrong last night and using that to analyze how Manny vs Floyd might look like, but in reality Manny looked like **** last night, not because of Mosley, but because of himself.

Even prior to the fight, his whole fire, and energetic personality wasn't there and he looked flat as hell. I never seen him pull some **** like that before, and I'm curious as to what was up with him.

              just my two cents.

Yeah, he didn't look to have the same intensity as usual, seemed content just to go through with the fight rather than trying to win. Only seemed to get that intensity when he got knocked down, would've made for a better fight if he started the fight like that.

But in regards to the thread, Mosley - Mayweather fight, Mosley wasn't chasing Mayweather at all, it was Mayweather pressing the action trying to get things done.

Actually, what bothered me about both fights was the amount of times Mosley wanted to touch gloves. I mean, I'm all for good sportsmanship, but there has to be a limit and really annoyed me in Mosley - Pac. At least Mayweather wouldn't do it and just continued fighting. Mosley needs to cut that out.
