Pacquiao vs mayweather = better version of calzaghe v hopkins

Any of you that know me would know that I have posted this comparison before last night, but the pattern will be very similar albeit with some differences. It will be a faster pace and cleaner action, and I would say PAC has a better chance of scoring a knock down obviously based on the power he carries, but on the whole it won't be a great spectacle, floyd will fight a very smart fight ala Hopkins, he will significantly reduce pacquaio work rate and make him miss and look amateurish, but floyd will be under pressure and fight very defensively and tie PAC up. It will be very difficult to score the rounds and PAC will get most success to the body with the occasional success to head. It will matter what the judges prefer, and in that sense I lean towards PAC as if it really is as close as I expect it to be it will come down to who can produce a big push in the last 2 rounds. Floyd has to make it look he is clearly winning the rounds, expect him to have good success with his jab but don't be surprised if he struggles to land his pot shots on manny

I think manny will throw 60 punches a round as an average, prob landing closer to 10 in the rounds he loses and closer to 20 in the rounds he wins, but I must highlight he will struggle to land cleanly. Floyd will throw his usual 40 punches a round and land in the 35-40% range a little less than his normal based on pac's southpaw stance, speed, and respect for his power but will land cleaner throuout the fight. Anyone that thinks this will be easy for either guy is dreaming.

Well...we will see I believe it will have a similar pattern as a fight and in the rounds, just a higher standard. I appreciate not everyone will share that opinion how do you see it going?

calzaghe landed 230 punches against hopkins so i'm pretty sure mayweather would be dead. compubox is so accurate.

it'll be exciting i think, floyd will not pressure to much(that'd be ******), but he wont run

either way, after watching last nights fight im 100% convinced pacquiao sparks floyd

I can understand where you're going with that whole thing though. That's what most people's opinions are for that fight.

Me on the other hand, I've been saying this for 2 years. This is a bigger mismatch than Lennox Lewis vs. Mike Tyson, and until these 2 step into the ring and people see the truth right before there eyes, they'll never believe me.

Were was Pac's fantastic output last night? it got turned down a lot.. a guy popping a weak jab from range and a little bit of movement. Mayweather is a far far better and more accurate boxer then Mosley...

You don't need to throw loads of punches to stop Pac's output a decent amount

Well if your right il give you props, I don't see it anything like that there is no evidence to suggest one is so superior to the other, In terms of there results as they are equally dominant over their rivals but in very different fashion. The styles are too different to interpret.
