Is that why Cotto was fighting going backwards the whole second half of the fight??Which was un heard of at that time, nah they were hurting him but Cotto did not take a lot of umm flush and was not as eager to get into exchanges either..But Cotto is tough as he showed eating Bricks for 11 rds..If Marga's plaster fist could not Knock Cotto clean out then I don't think anything Shane would have hit him with would have..But Cotto was hurt a few times in that fight make no mistake about it..

cotto took more of those overhand shots more than floyds 2 which he buckled from. floyds recovery was excellent tho, but if you compare floyd and cotto chin, cotto is superior. yes cotto been down a few times cuz he goes toe to toe and gets hurt. reason why floyds is untested is because hes a defensive, safety first boxer, imagine if floyd engages toe-toe, hed go down for sure.

How is Mayweather's chin "untested?" He's been rocked before those two rights from Mosley... yet he's still only hit the canvas when he hurt his hand against "Famoso" and put it on the mat.

Mayweather's chin is most likely one of his better assets because he's been hit clean before and he hasn't been reeling.

Floyd can't get into exchanges. He's a counterpuncher, but he's not like Marquez where he likes to mix it up and get into exchanges.

I always think about the final 4 or 5 seconds of the 12th round in DLH/Mayweather fight where Mayweather tried to be a crowd-pleaser and started going toe-to-toe with Oscar and Oscar got the better of the exchanges.

It’s funny you mention that fight because it was one of Floyd’s worst performances contrary to *****’s assumptions of a boxing display.

It's funny that you mention that being one of Mayweather's worst performances because even in one of his "worst performances" he still clearly won that bout by more than the tally, especially considering his opposite was running the event.

***** he won by split decision (therefore “he still clearly won that bout by more than the tally” is mute) where the crowd grew restless and booed what fight were you watching again?

The one that many ringside observers felt Mayweather won unanimously and only a Pac rider would believe was actually close. I guess when DLH did nothing but stare at Mayweather, that was pure entertainment.

As I originally stated, De La Hoya ran the event.
