Watching that again makes me think it will be a tough fight for Manny tonight, Shane only stopped throwing because he couldn't find Mayweather's elusive head and upper body and was being countered every time he did throw.

Manny on the other hand does not have the crisp jab, defence or ring smarts that Floyd does, he'll get hit hard tonight and I hope he responds the way I think he will otherwise he will lose.

All the credit to FM for shutting out Mosley after the 2nd rd. But I've always felt that Shane, despite all of his experience, choked that night for whatever reason. As mentioned in the videos he was wound up too tight from the beginning of the fight. Dude was handicapped by the Mayweather mystique similar to the way players were mentally beaten by MJ prior to tip-off.

That's why the Pac fight tonight will be a good fight. I doubt Shane feels the same going in against Pac.

He wasnt wound up. Thats just Mosley's style and why Floyd wouldve always beat him. Senior called it perfectly by saying that Shane is jittery. Look at this fight. Its a prime Shane just 1 fight before the 1st Oscar fight. Look how much unecessary movement he has. Its just his style.

i agree with you to an extent...but im not sure it was necessarily the "Mayweather mystique" as you put it...

Mosley had a plan...they thought they had found something they could exploit...and you see that in the two bombs he hits Floyd with in Rd 2...i think Mosley expected Floyd to hit the canvas if he ever caught him like that...the fact that Floyd survived threw Mosley off his game somewhat...

if you continue to watch closely over the rest of the fight...I see Mosley trying to stick to the same plan he had at the beginning...But Floyd not only shuts it down...but baits Mosley into continuing to try the same way for the rest of the fight...
