The same thought crossed my mind.

Getting tangled in the ropes did not bother Pac, the body-punch did.

The point Naz was making is that you cannot rely on Pac to be open for a shot like that..... but the point he did not elaborate on, is that you can create the opportunity yourself.

But let's be honest here, the reason why 16 out of 16 experts picked Pac to win, is because it is highly unlikely that Shane can turn back the clock in his hot-tub time machine.

His reflexes and timing are too far gone to be able to cope with Manny's speed at this point.

Cheatto didn't expose nothing, Manny has always been weak against great body punching. But then again not many fighters can take sustained body punishment so that isn't a knock on Pac. Also if you look at pac's previous losses they were caused by a good body attack.

Just like how Pac threw 1200 punches in the Clottey fight (and had a low % of punches landed), it was because he had to do something to try and get Clottey to fight back. Of course Clottey was going to hit him a few times, but he only THREW approx. 33 punches per round, including jabs. That's ridiculous! Pac was trying anything he could think of to try to get Clottey out of his shell and fight back, including throwing a "double punch" to try and get him to wake up and fight. I think it's a mistake for Naaz to build his strategy around that fight (I don't really think he totally is), and Mosely is NOwhere near as defensive as Clottey is. Believe me, Naaz has not put all of his eggs in one basket in his training strategy and of course he is not going to put his whole game plan out there for Team Pac to counter off of. Yes, Shane used to be a great body puncher, but with his age and stamina issues - he doesn't have time for the body game. The body game takes many rounds to take the effect that's desired to slow down the opponent (especially one like Pac) and Shane has become a headhunter because he can't afford himself to wait for Pac to slow down... by then Shane will be more fatigued then Manny will be. As much as I want this fight to be competitive, I can see it going very similar to the Mayweather fight, but with more action. And since Mosely said he had issues with Mora, (and also still appeared to not be able to pull the trigger and seemed extremely tired) because he was an "akward" fighter - then he's in for some real issues against Pacquiao. While Mora moved around a lot more then Shane is used to, Sergio hardly threw any punches. Pacquiao will be in there, but punching and moving and giving Mosely problems from the angles and speed. But... make no mistake, Mosely "can" be dangerous (Especially early on) until the last minute because of his power, and it seems his only chance will be to hit Pacquiao flush with a shot he can't recover from. However, just like Margarito did against Pac, Mosely will also lose steam in his punches the longer the fight goes on. And the more tired he becomes, the more he will be battered by Pac with the punches he doesn't see coming.

Perhaps you didn't read the entire post, because I was essentially saying the same thing that you agreed with in the very next post. When I said he was "smarter then this", I meant that he "IS smarter then this" (it's a ploy to make Team Pac think this is their only strategy), not that what he was saying made him not smart. If I was not clear, what I was trying to say was - I DON"T BUY IT. Brother Naaz would not put his and Shanes strategy out there for the world to read...

I have nothing but respect for Naazim Richardson. I actually like him more than any other trainer, including Freddie Roach, because there's no B.S. in him, and he doesn't feel the need to insult anyone while telling the truth.

With all these strategies and the strategies of past opponents, when the first bell rings all these strategies will all go to the drain. You've overestimated Richardson but underestimated Pacquiao and Roach.

Mosley is not a good body puncher. Cotto, who is one of the best body punchers, tried but failed. Margarito, a big hitter, tried but failed.

WooW! Great body punching? Who did Pacquiao fought with a great body punching? Only Cotto, but failed. Maybe, you mean lucky body punching and that was many years back when Pacquiao was only starting to fight.

It's almost fight time and I'm gonna repeat my prediction. Either Mosley is getting paid to dance or people are going to regret thinking this fight is about how Shane is gonna hold up in the later rounds. Personally I think if this fight is on the up and up the question that people should've been asking is what happens when Manny get's in there with someone truly capable of beating him at his own game. All the so called critics speak of how Shane will handle Manny's assault but none wonder how Manny will handle Shane's. We're about to find out.

                      F**K PBF/PAC BRING ON PBF/MARTINEZ!!!!!!!!
Woow! PBF/Martinez is just a dream of PBF fans. It won't happen. Even if Martinez will kneel before your idol, your idol will move away. Away! for he is scared. I will tell you this bro, PBF, if ever he will fight again, he will fight the easiest fighter he deems he can defeat. And Martinez is not on his list.
