    Yeah, I got a question...

...Where does Jones go on the p4p lists if he destroys Tarver or beats him very convincingly?

Also, I know this is a huge what if, but what if he beats Tarver and then goes on to face Johnson and beats him as well, where would you rank him?

Question for those who dislike Jones: Would he get your props?

    I'd put him at 10.

Even after he beats both of them?

No, I would put him at 10 if he beat Tarver, and if he avenges his loss with Glen Johnson I would put him somewhere around 6 or 7.

If he beats them both he'll get his respect back, boxing fans in general would say "Jones wasnt mentally right in the fights he lost but now he's focused again", so i think he'd be ranked top 5 by most people. then he'd need another big win to be pushing for top 3, maybe even number 1 depending how well everyone else is doing at that time..

I think he still has the ability, he just need to remember he need to use his skills more now he's slowing down.

IF he beats Tarver, #4. If he beats Johnson, too, #2.
I don't think it will happen, but it would sure make things interesting.
'Course I didn't think Hatton would beat Zoo, or PBF would beat Gatti, so WTF do I know?

I agree with the post above mine.

If he beats them both....he is a shoe in at the #2 spot.

                  hmm

This is Roy's last hurrah. I am almost 100% sure win or lose, this is Roy's last fight. His last motivation. His last everything. Even though he can blame his recent performances on a host of things from motivation and age to weight-loss, he feels he really has something to prove. This isn't about p4p or anything else. This is about one fight and one theme only:

                  Get Back.

I have never been a Jones fan and any discussion about p4p that includes his name is a joke. But you asked the right questions.
What if? If Jones beats Tarver, after what he has been through, I'd be very impressed. If that happens, can you imagine the build up for the Johnson fight? WOW!
