    / this thread now.
If Floyd asked for 100Mil like Roger said then F*** him too. Can you watch any of the videos me and others posted and say the same about Manny? There are some waaaaay more revealing stuff in the Roach videos. If you think this video ends the thread, then that would mean that we ended the thread a long time ago. By the way, Roger is looking really old.

As for Marg, that could be said to be Arum's fault, but Cotto and May is not. Cotto was prime when Floyd beat Oscar, and everyone wanted that fight, but Floyd retired when Oscar wouldn't give him a bigger share, and he came back for Hatton.

At the time, Floyd himself said Cotto needs to make a name for himself, assuming in the US but he came back and chosr Hatton whom IMO is no bigger than Cotto in the US.
Hatton was 10 times the star of Cotto, he had a HUGE FOLLOWING, maybe not in the U.S but overall he was much more popular and a bigger draw.

Remember the "Theres only 1 RICKY HATTON!" chants from the entire crowd during his fights between Pacquiao and Mayweather.

But yea, Hatton was hands down a bigger star, maybe not a bigger threat, but a bigger star.

Cotto has NEVER openly pushed for a fight with Mayweather. Fact of the matter is that Floyd gave Arum an offer and Bob turned it down. Cotto/Margarito fights could have happened.

Anyway, nothing is stopping Pacquiao for coming in under 154, heck Margarito outweighed Pacquiao by 20lbs didn't he I believe?
But the point is Pacquiao can't get anywhere near 154 lbs. I am a fan of Pacquiao but a fan of boxing period. Pac's jr middle belt is null and void to me: he didn't weigh in at the jr middle limit which is crap, he needed a catchweight which is crap, and he got bogus rankings along with the bogus title shot, as well as Margarito. He is a welter point blank. Pac has to take in tremendous carbs to get around 145 and Sergio supposedly walks around at 175, give or take. Pac is a great fighter of this generation and denying that is ignorant, just read half of these posts. But, he cannot compete with Sergio @jr middle and has every right not to pursue that fight. Maybe a better comparison would be Sergio vs Cunningham @ cruiser or Sergio vs Pascal/Bhop @ light heavy.

Yup, when faced with cold, hard facts right in the face, a ***** will resort to tales from the past.

If you are really interested in the fight materializing, wouldn't your response be "That's great! Floyd's got them cornered now! Call out their bluff, Floyd!"?

But no, "This is bull****!" or "Arum's lying!"

It's not Floyd alone who doesn't want the fight. *****s also don't want their illusions of Floyd's ring brilliance shattered.

If the fight doesn't happen, he use the lawsuit to justify not making the fight. If Mayweather chooses to take a tune up before, then he can say "We'll Mayweather did what he wanted to do so we are moving in another direction"........

.......But what am I talking about they are already fighting Marquez in November so Bobs comments about this fight is null and void.
Nice analysis of how the liar works, of course tards just cant get it

Dude do u honestly think Pac could beat Floyd? Seriously, his style is all wrong for Pac, Manny would be a lost puppy in the ring with Mayweather...

                • All we get from *****s are history lessons. They aren't interested in moving forward and seeing the fight happen. Just like their boy, they would rather obfuscate and cling on to the past than negotiate in good faith.

An objective boxing fan would wonder why they don't consider Arum's assertion that they have caved in to Floyd's testing demand as a victory for Floyd and the removal of the last remaining (?) obstacle to the bout.

Why not call Arum's bluff and see if he is indeed lying? All Floyd has to do is say "Okay, you got the fight and you're taking OSDT!" and Arum would either have to swallow his pride and obey Floyd or be exposed as a liar.

But if all that Floyd can do is say, "Just take the test!", then we know for sure what the real deal is.

Actually, Cotto was a bigger draw in the States and a proven welter, which Hatton was not. Hatton's only fight @welter was an arguable decision that he barely survived against Collazo. Yes Hatton was 10 times the star of Cotto outside the states, but, you have to take into account that England is more than 10 times the size of PR. Hatton's never drew in the states prior to the Floyd fight and Cotto was selling out the Garden, no comparison.

Dude, the point is I WANT TO SEE IT, WIN OR LOSE!!!

Don't you? Why be content with fantasy match-ups, subjective analysis and predictions when we can see for ourselves?

Or are you perfectly contented with the fantasy fight in your mind that there is no need to have the real fight?

Pac and Arum have agreed to take the test. It's time for Floyd to take the fight!
