I'm a boxing fan and I've learned my lesson over the yrs with Top Rank. If I'm not thrilled with the undercard, I will not buy but that doesnt mean I'm not a hardcore fan because I choose not to spend. Vazquez jr is on the undercard and I still chose not to buy. I will find a way to see it for free weather it be at a bar, restaurant, someones house or on the internet. If Arum isnt giving us boxing fans what we want in a loaded card for the price of $50, why should I support him? Juanma vs Gamboa is nearly out the window now as a perfect example of how Top Rank does business. A fight that should've happened last yr or been scheduled for this summer.

Manny's out of our(hardcores) hands. It's to the point or getting there, where casual fans just want to see him perform the same way people would go to see a musician. It's almost like when Mike Tyson was advertised as this ferocious beast and everyone was interested if it was true or not. With Pac he's advertised as this tasmanian-devil in the ring, but a kid outside of it. A good portion of the millions that followed Tyson in those days were more interested in just seeing him in action and how he was gonna rip apart the man in front of him. It's not to that level yet, but it's getting there with Manny.

These types of fights are for the casuals and corporate America. Corporate America needs to see that boxing can generate excitement and a following again.

I'm glad that you brought up aspects of being a casual fan. I personally feel that being a hardcore fan sometimes contributes negatively to how we enjoy the sport. When we get in too deep, we lose sight of the reason we first got into the sport. In the beginning we were just amazed to see two athletes fight amazingly and we just wanted to see more of that. We didn't care to think how this fighter or this fight was reflected in the history of the sport. Who cares, it was just fuc.kin awesome to watch boxing.
That was a very good post green sent.

That is not a bum. He fought Mora to a draw at 163 lbs. Has nothing to do with his WW ranking.
LOL@ the new 163 weight division! Do you really think Shane deserved a draw for that? I thought he got outboxed by Mora personally...

I'm a fan of the sport, but will STREAM this meaningless fight...I will get out my pocketbook when Pac wants to fight better opposition. If that means to move up in weight or to fight in a weight that he can easily be in (the JWW division), then so be it.If he wants to fight guys that have lost previous fights before fighting him, then I will not buy it-simple as that.

If Manny had the stones to face Shane 2 years ago when he was winning,I would have paid for it....Shane has just looked horrid in his recent 2 fights,so I won't risk my hard earned dollars on a fight that shows risk as a mismatch.

Manny and his team are essentially laughing at the boxing fans when he says he fights for the fans....because he knows you idiots will buy anything as long as he is in it.If anyone needs a stream,PM me and send Arum a message by NOT paying for mismatches, but only paying for fights that are PPV worthy.

Supporting bullshit fights=Supporting a particular fighter but not helping the sport get better.

I'm going to stream the hell out of this bull**** fight. With a garbage ass undercard.

Whoever buys this event is a damn fool, who's more of a fan of a particular fighter, then actual fan of the sport.

And, I'm not even a Floyd fan either. That lady Gaga watching, Beiber supporting, vacation taking, **** suspect can stay retire as well.
I like you as a poster, but I hate when people go on these rants.

Why is someone less of a fan because they want to purchase this fight......that makes no sense what's so ever.

I mean look at it like this, in any other sport fans chear just as hard if there team or favorite athletes is going against elite competition vs some cream puff/pushover.

I doubt you will see a lakers fan say "I'm not watching the game tonight because they are playing the charlotte bobcats".

Also you will never see a hardcore College football fan boycott a game and discourage others from watching it just because their favorite team is playing some powder puff team.

If you don't want to watch it, or buy it...cool keep it moving, but to sit up with these rants questioning a fans loyalty to the sport because it's something you dislike, is quite ridiculous.

BTW this goes for those who do the same thing for Mayweather fights and others as well. If his diehard fans feel like coming out to support and buy his next tuneup fight.....that doesn't make them any less of a fan of boxing, and I wish people would get off that ****.

Who should Pac fight? JMM or Berto? You know he's a natural LWW. How can idiots even mutter ******ed **** like this fight is a disgrace.

Mosley is a legit top 5 WW. He didn't fight Mora at 147. He fought him at 163!.

Pac has already cleaned out the WW who else is he supposed to fight?

Haters just don't got any sense.
At this point in his career Mosley is a BUM. It would be like saying Roy Jones has a chance at Andre Ward or such.

Mosley Is shot! at the point, it was proven with the Floyd fight and Mora fight.
