Tarver gets no media because it's all about Roy. And I'm not saying that Tarver isn't a solid fighter. I'm just saying that the legacy that Roy Jones has created for himself (politics aside) is one where everyone wants to know how this story will end. No one cared for Fraizer, it was all about Ali. No one cared for Douglas, it was all about tyson. Roy beat them all... good and bad, and he beat them all with an ease I've never seen in boxing before or in history. Tarver has never created that kind of stigma for himself. Not to mention that his record is not as impressive and long. Hes a young fighter with an older age. The public has no interest in him. Its just about how Roy faces adversity. And for right now, Tarver is just adversity.Comment

Plus, as far as natural ability is concerned, I don't think anyone is arguing who is more gifted.
The question I think is... Can Roy take a punch again? He did in the first fight very well and showed to be a warrior. But he didn't do the same in his last 2 fights. Maybe we all excused the first one cause wonder punches do happen. But after the second fight, that is when I think most of us said, "something is wrong". So as it stands, its uncertain what will happen Oct. 1st. But its not that it's an uncertain fight. It's more of an uncertain Roy!Comment
