this is what usually happens when 12-15 year old kids are allowed to get their hands on computers. everythings under scrutiny everyones have opinions as if it matters. dang why cant a fighter have tattoos, its their body dammmit leave them alone.
Since I have a humorous distaste for tattoos I'll throw my 2 cents in.

LOL ****** how people wait till they go through problems in life or in some cases bo) to start getting tats to "express themselves", like it's a form of them "getting it off their chest".
hey who knows why people get tattoos. I don't need to go psycho annalist, but it seems like un necessary spending if you ask me. Why mark your body up?

Floyd had a point when he said Mosley getting tattooed at 38 was about insecurity.
I do recall hearing that line. The exact quote was "who waits till 38 to get a tattoo? Who's he trying to kid"
and getting a tribal tattoo is pretty generic IMO.

It's certainly an issue of insecurity.
Tyson after Lewis Hatton after Mayweather
Before the Paulie fight Hatton added that Lion on his shoulder and Pride in Battle on his back pre Pacquiao
and I'm not so sure we can pin point insecurity as to why he'd get a bunch of tattoos, I'd almost blame it on substance abuse or peer pressure
last note since somebody said this .... "Everyone gets tatted up nowadays and its gangsta as ****. . Its become normal!"
in a magazine I read a while back there was an article about tattoos that stated over 65% of people in the U.S. have at least 1 tattoo.
Kelly would control this for as long he wanted it to last if he could bring back all the things that he used to do in the ring. The quality of opposition on Lopez' (winning) record is deeply mediocre and, from looking at his punching, I would guess his KO ratio is attributable in large part to that - his defence looks like it should be very breachable for Pavlik, also.
But I share your sentiment, in part. The Youngstown Ghost has looked lost and out of sorts for some years, with the last time we saw him being over a year ago...he could be deep in the wilderness now, as far as we know of where he's at.
I can't say I know what his current state is, but Kelly appears to have the look of a fragile and troubled man. If Lopez brings some fighting intangibles to the table in addition to his natural size advantage, I wouldn't be shocked to see him giving Kelly some issues tomorrow night, having seen nothing as yet to suggest that KP has rediscovered his fistic muse.
He should still win, but we'll see.
Size wasn't a factor in Lopez's favor as it turned out; the weigh-in pic that Freedom. and I were referring to in this thread was deceptive.
Which makes sense, as I was surprised to see Lopez appearing to have a height/size advantage over Pavlik after seeing him in the ring with other opponents.
Pavlik won clearly, but looked far from restored to his former quality. Somewhat sad to see, but it's what I expected.
