Has anyone noticed how opinions seem to be changing?

3 months ago when we all found out that we were going to watch Wlad Klitchko vs. Sam Peter the first opinion out of almost every neutral boxing fans mouth was, "oh **** wlad is gonna get ****ed up this is the wrong fight for him right now"

Its funny how time can change things, as I have been reading over the past week it appears the tide has begun to change, more and more people are predicting the Ukraninian to put the beat down on the green nigerian.

Before Gatti signed the fight with Floyd most experts said stay away from that fight Arturo you cant win that one but as the fight was signed and fight night grew closer people began thinking of this fight as a competitive one and even one that Gatti could win. This scenario is different because those who were giving Gatti a chance were doing so with their heart (as I was) logic said that fight was going to be every bit the thrashing that it was.

With Peter and Klit I came out of the box and said Peter is going to hurt Wlad even though I recognized that it was a close fight to call because of the lack of experience from Peter.

Now who do I like? I still like Peter but Im more apprehensive about my pick then ever before, I think Wlad will dominate the early rounds but it takes a lot of energy out of you avoiding a puncher like Peter and it eventually will take its tole.

Who else feels less confident about their fight pick as the match grows closer? Has anyone changed their picked?

Cant wait for Saturday night, it is exactly what us cult fans live for!

Oh by the way if you are flip flopping around about your pick here is my advice, go with your first instinct, if you did that for Gatti vs. Floyd you would have never got your hopes up for a potential Thunder upset, dont get to excited if Wlad's chin is just as broke as you thought it was when the fight first was signed.

i have picked wlad, but feel less confident after seeing peter's weight in pick. imo, the fight will go the opposite that you said. i believe peter will come out agressive in the first three rounds, control the pace and throw some bo,bs. if wlad can get out of those rounds, which i think he can, i believe peter will being to tire, and wlad will get a mid round ko. im realkly interesterd however, to see what would happen if this fight goes past the 8th round. neither fighter has much stamina, and i think those rounds would be really interesting

I am sticking with Peter by TKO but am growing a little less sure by the day....but not because I am a fan of either because I am not.....I never have really like either Klitchko and I like Peter but can't say I am a fan yet....

...I have called it a 50/50 deal since the start pretty much. I am leaning more towards a Wlad win because of body language, appearence of the fighters face to face, and the fact that Wlad and Manny seem extremely confident. Also, Duva seems to be taking a step back in his claims that Peter is a shoe in.

I believe Wlad`s camp is super conifident and at times you suspect why, do they know something we don't perhaps?
I see Peter as a guy who won't be fazed, he'll go out and ****. I consider Peter a bigger puncher than Ross Purity, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster. He is also younger and fresher than when these guys faced Wlad. If Wlad can avoid a decent head shot for 12 rounds then he`ll win. But a decent shot...he is gone and CHINS DON'T IMPROVE!

I think Wlad could be shot, but I refuse to accept it yet and think he will prevail.

This fight will show it all, but regardless of a win/loss, I will still be his fan.

I'm still riding with vlad, everytime I pick the puncher over the boxer I lose, so I am sticking with the man I feel has displayed better boxing skills in the past, and that is vlad...I think he is going to dominate peter from start until finish

When I heard this new, I picked Peter to TKO Wlad early. Now, I'm still picking Peter to TKO Wlad early.

I did however bet points on a Wlad KO/TKO inside of 6 because I enjoy betting against the fighter I want to win.
