... and we'll never know if Tony really used plaster when they fought the first time. **** Roberto Garcia and those Texas officials!

If Margarito is cleared and stays injury free for his camp there should be no excuses.

Why wouldn't Cotto get the credit he isn't the one who the controversy is around.

Not the case. I remember Roach commented after PAC-Tony fight saying he thinks Margarito will not be competitive anymore in future fights because of those extra rounds of beating.

Margarito won't be Cotto even if he didn't take that bad of a beating. He simply doesn't have the skills to beat any elite fighter its why he used wraps to counter it. I mean seriously, what if Maidana had plaster in his hands vs Khan or Morales? He would have decimated both guys even though is technique is garbage, getting hit with bricks takes away any advantage you may have had.

Yeah because Cotto is a fresh fighter. Neither man has an excuse if the fight is made in the near future.

Never thought Margarito had a shot in beating Cotto in the rematch. What more could one expect from Margarito after the beating Mosley and Pacquiao gave him? You think this wasn't gonna run through Cotto's head? Also Garcia is cool people, relax.

I think you're right. Marg'z wear and tear which we've witnessed to be severe and has been confirmed will be a major part of his undoing the next time he steps into the ring. There is no way that those brutal beatings he's taken at his later age after all his wars will not decimate his foundation. This guy should never fight again and should rightly be concerned for his health.

Based on styles, a healthy and strong Margz will beat Cotto 7 out of 10 times. If they step in the ring again at this stage in their career Cotto stops Tony. Margz, as a fighter, is done.

That is the most common sense that i have read in a while.
