Why not click the link and actually read the article? The guy works for Yahoo sports you idiot, this site is hopeless with fools like you on here. Can't even click the link and read a whopping paragraph? And besides, how can it get any worse, Mayweather doesn't fight at all and HBO lost Manny and Cotto, nothing could get worse for them no matter who is in charge.

So does that mean he is going to work with both Yahoo and HBO or is he not taking the HBO job?

That's not HBO's job. HBO offers the money and airs the fight, the promoters/managers do the rest. The only one's that can close the Mayweather-Pacquiao deal is Arum and Haymon, and they hate eachother.'

HBO asks for fights to be made, they can do that, they can somewhat control who a fighter fights[Martinez-Dzinziruk as a recent example, turning down Berto-Gomez, Cotto-Mayorga etc.], but in the end it's the promoters that have to actually make the fights happen.
