i read that once. It was some "expert" that speculated it. Personally, i dont think so, but i cannot say for sure that it was not so. Afterall, Duran did claim(among other excuses) that he was having stomach cramps. Might be another way of saying he really needed to go?? but again, not likely.

Will try to find the original quote, and link it

I'd go for a piss in a water bottle. If you needed a ****, well that's your opponents problem haha.

There's been some fights where the boxer just urinates during the bout and it drips down the legs and shorts. It can be concealed sometimes because some people just assume it's the water they put down the trunks in-between rounds.

But I've seen it happen mid-round, well after any water down the trunks. There was one incident which sticks in my mind where the commentator says "there's some liquid which has started leaking from his shorts" but I can't remember which specific fight it was or I would have linked a video.

it was trainer and commentator Gil Clancy that speculated that perhaps Duran qiut cause he needed to go..

Their rematch was held in New Orleans on November 25, 1980. This time around, Leonard used far more lateral movement and jabs, staying off the ropes whenever possible. In round 7, Leonard taunted Duran, dropping his arms and winding up with a bolo punch. Neither fighter had absorbed much punishment, but Leonard had a narrow lead on all three scorecards after 7 rounds. In round 8, Duran turned around, walked to his corner and gave up. Although Duran is widely remembered for the now famous words, "no más," he never actually said them. It was actually commentator Howard Cosell who uttered the phrase, which inspired an angry comment from Duran in a 2005 article about the fight (however, the article makes it clear that Duran did quit, as he actually said the Spanish equivalent of "I can't continue"). Regardless, the sports world was stunned by Duran's actions. The controversy regarding this bout and Duran's motivation for quitting continues to this day. However, in an interview with ESPN, Duran had stated that he had started to get stomach cramps and felt it better to quit now than suffer through it. Trainer and TV commentator Gil Clancy opined that perhaps Duran was on the verge of defecating. [2] In an episode of FOX Sports's Beyond The Glory, Duran's trainer said that Duran had turned to him and said "I won't fight anymore with this clown." [3] Duran's manager, Carlos Eleta, said, "Duran didn't quit because of stomach cramps. He quit because he was embarrassed."

i cannot post an URL sadly, but its under nusantaraku.org

just write that and SRL in google and it will show up i hope

You'll piss alot and sh*it some before the fight because of nerves. Once the fight starts the adrenaline kicks in and you won't have to go. I almost instantly sh*it myself once when they put me in for the second time with a heavyweight who'd brutalized me. It happened seconds before we were to begin sparring when I looked across the ring at his massive shoulders and chest. As soon as the punches began flying I completely forgot about it. I could only guess that in a fight you'd be disqualified.

A lot of fighters take a knee, quit on their stool, or have their corner throw in the towel when they gotta go pee or deposit a clunk of brown gold in the crapper. Seems to work some times.

I imagine you wont go into a fight with a full stomach, so i doubt a fighter will have to drop a deuce in the ring, as for the fluids, I imagine with the amount of energy you sweat the water out.

I do remember seeing a mma fighter throw up after winning a fight on tosh.0. that dude might have had a full stomach.
