Hold up! Are you seriously discrediting Hatton and Oscar regarding Floyd? Now I know for sure that you are just a Manny fan. If you weren't, then you would know that Manny fought them after Floyd. Hatton was undefeated and held a title at 147 and Oscar was at his comfortable weight (154), with Freddie Roach in his corner and he sparred with Shane to prepare for Floyd. How can you say Pac's legacy is better than Floyd's when Floyd fought a better Hatton and Oscar?.... Pac didn't FACTS. Are you SERIOUSLY trying to discredit the Shane win? Roach and Pac ducked shane hard after Margarito when Shane was the top WW in the division. Pac is fighting Shane after Floyd beat him up and a bad Mora draw. You have got to be kidding. Baldomir beat the Undisputed Champion (Zab Judah) at the time and became the Lineal champion and Floyd beat Zab and Baldomir to become the #1 WW. Pac hasn't done that since his move to WW. Basically your argument is to discredit 3 guys Floyd beat prior to Pac that were clearly better physically and mentally. Get out of here with that BULL****.

Atleast the majority of them dudes were winning and not looking like crap the fight before like Pac's comp at 147. I give more credit for Pac beating Marquez but technically I can't even do that because the second fight could have went to Marquez. But it was at 135, so Pac gets that because JMM was mismatched from the beginning against Floyd. Oscar, Cotto (145), Clottey and now Mosley after Floyd beat him when he was #1 and Pac didn't want it? the only thing that makes Pac's resume impressive is the names and Clottey wasn't even no one. None of them fighters were even highley regarded in the division when Pac got to them.

agree with you.. pac has names.. money has lames.. it's part of self promotion.. mayweahter sells fights as fights of the yr candidates.. yet they're glorified sparring sessions.. beating outmatched opposition.. with maybe the exeption of an old moseley.. boring 12rnd decisions.. and with pac, yeah he's beating guys that have been beaten.. but the fashion in which he has done.. it's crowd pleasing.. beating after beating.. action.. blood, guts glory.. so it's only natural that a dude that belongs somewhere in the 135-140 area moves up and handles people the way he has.. it's got to give the casual fan a very pleasant "got my money's worth feeling".. what you get with money? a technical performance of defensive first minded, gifted athlete.. vs who?..

I agree that the reason why Pac gets more props is that he is more entertaining. Facts are tho, that Floyd was fighting winners and Pac hasn't with exception to Cotto and even people were saying he was done during and after the Clottey fight but I give Cotto props for not taking the easy way out and fighting. Pac should have respected Cotto and did it at 147lB. I would never say anything if Pac would have fought and beat Cotto at 147 and not 145.

The defamation and slander was uncalled for (I mean, if you really think he's on PEDs, you can just point to the fact he didn't/doesn't want to take the test without directly accusing him), but...

Arum is contradicting himself here though...

The Mayweather's slandered and defamed Pacquiao more so than GBP, but they're somehow exempt to having to put on the dog & pony show he wants GBP to put on? The Mayweather's statements have been direct and indirect and are still ongoing, but he'd do business with them.

                      PBF fans are the worst

I see this thread has brought out all of the super intelligent Floyd Mayweather Jr fans.

It's funny watching these people draw such illogical conclusions from such innocuous statements. Golden Boy currently has ONE worthy Pacquiao opponent in Ortiz. Yet, this statement leads some of you morons into believing that Arum doesn't want Pacquiao to fight Mayweather? Despite Arum making the specific statement that he does NOT believe Mayweather is currently associated with Golden Boy.

                      Serious question:

Are ANY PBF fans capable of READING?
