The annoying part is this.....Arum is hurting the game....Manny might not be the dude I thought he was...I mean, if he is gonna let this fly...then I definitely read him wrong....the fans are being cheated outta some good fights....and Mr. "I fight to please the fans" aka Mr. "Fighting Poverty" should step up and take control....because the fans are starting to get hip to whats going on and its not easy to come zp with 50-60 dollars these days....so you can say mofos are poor...maintaining through POVERTY.....c'mon man....I know a scam when I see one
Manny is DEFINITELY hiding behind Bob Arum, because Arum himself admitted that Manny is the boss and that Pac makes all of the final decisions.....
He is a very carefully manufactured fighter, a creation - albiet a terrific one - but now folks are starting to wise up and notice that all of Manny's recent opponents have either been old, faded, vulnerable..... or all of the above.
Until Pac fights Mayweather, and that fight will happen, he will not fight an opponent who is on top of his game.
The GBP block conveniently takes Ortiz out of the picture as well, who just so happens to be the only other threat at welter, and who also happens to be - coincidentally - right on top of his game right now.
On the very day that it becomes in Bob Arum's best interests to work with GBP..... he will do so in a heartbeat

Marquez is not doing anything silly, he knows Arum very well, and will only do what he has to do to get the Pac fight..... and Schaefer will not have an issue with that.

This is why Pacquiao's credibility will forever be suspect. He still hides behind his naive fans, and allows the media to give him a pass on PED's while other athlete's are subjected to criticism and rebuke. Instead of being an true ambassador for the sport the right way, he chooses rather to be a puppet and a pawn and fight his fight with Mayweather not in a ring, but in the media and a U.S court of law...
and he's not even a tax paying citizen.
Like I said before, his illuminating connections have paid off, and Arum must enjoy sharing his "little Filipino" with Harry Reid.
