Floyd completely spoils what the other guy is trying to do and being made to really think as opposed to acting/reacting is one of the worst things that can happen to a fighter.

It is very hard to come back from that and be the same.

But sure both are damaging just one is obvious and easy to see while the other is not.

Floyd won 11 rounds but no he didn't shut him out, unless you give him the second which I guess you could but I didn't.

A shut out would be winning every round

Be honest. As a fighter, you're saying you'd rather be beaten to a pulp over the course of 8-10 rounds then KO'd rather than being outpointed in a 12-0 shutout?

That is a very helpless feeling. The fact that he's more actve than I am and I'm the one getting tired? Thats extremely demoralizing imo.
exactly. There are some delusional and misguided people in this world. Who the hell would rather be beaten so badly they look like they were in a one man car wreck, have their face literally broken and STILL be unable to fight, be beaten so lopsidedly they are forced to quit on their stool, be annihilated so quickly and brutally that they retire, become depressed and develop a coke habit... Instead of being pot shotted and look like they went for a light run through the park at the end?

Come on, let's be real here. If you were offered $5 mil to fight either manny or floyd, everyone would pick floyd. Just keep it real.

Floyd lands 18 punches a round and throws like 38, guys against him land like 8 and throw 50.

That is literally making someone feel helpless and then letting them simmer on that thought process for an hour. Mental torture is rough you should not discount it.

It is not that simple~ I would rather take a physical beating than be broken mentally though.

Time heals physical wounds, the mind may never be the same.

You're right. Now that I think of it, I'd rather have my eye socket broken and know how it happened rather then get potshotted and not know why I couldnt do anything about it.

Pacquiao is fighting Mayweather's leftovers. Not hard to see that.

Though to give Pac credit, he fought guys Floyd ducked as well.
