Ranking removal for Floyd Mayweather increases era legacy for Manny

Floyd Mayweather removal from The Ring magazine’s pound for pound rankings after being inactive for more than 12 months could be seen as sign of the legacy of Manny Pacquiao being advanced across this era. While Pacquiao advances his case every six months, Mayweather appears to be resting on his laurels. Unfortunately, they have just been removed.


The longer Mayweather leaves it, the more likely that this era will be remembered for the feats of the Filipino fighter, as Mayweather’s lustre lessened. The ranking removal should be seen as a wake-up call for Floyd.

Floyd can easily turn this around by calling Bob Arum and agreeing to fight. Manny has already said he'll take Floyd's ridiculous tests. it's all up to Floyd
