Some of you are total idiots, saying Cotto lets Bob call the shots. Are you guys not realizing that Cotto wants to be the first PR to win a title in four different weight classes? On top of that he will get a far, FAR, FAR better payday than he would facing anyone else at 160 including Sergio. Add to the fact that its against a protected hype job why wouldn't he want to make this fight as a replacement for Marg's crippled ass. The fact that Marg can't even get cleared for a fight nearly a year after his fight should end all dispute on who got the worse beating, mag or cotto.

NOT EVERY ONE! DAMN STOP THE GENERALIZATIONS~!!

No one gives jcc a chance because he a mama/papas boy... he never had to strugle... thus in the ring he won't push himself to the limit. just wants easy fights. and live off his father's name

        A) Margarito needs to retire. Fighting on will be detrimental to his long term health. Sucks we won't see the rematch but it'd suck even more if he went blind.

        B) Cotto's already a small super welter, but now he's going to mw? This needs to be a catchweight bout, regardless of the inevitable whining by purists. 157 sounds right to me.

Sergio Martinez has an instant shot at the winner of Zbik/Chavez.
if Chavez jr refuses the WBC will strip him of the title.

what's this with Cotto fighting at 160? Arum is always saying Martinez is too big for Cotto but Chavez jr isn't?

I wonder how long Top Rank fighters will hide under Bob Arum's skirt. more in house bull ****.

157 or 158 will probably be where it happens. Chavez Jr is 5 inches taller and 6 in reach advatage. of course the skills clearly favor Cotto but IMO this will not be an easy task for Miguel Cotto as many think it will.

I think the problem with Margarito is not only his eye, cause his doctor already said that Margarito could be cleared to fight in september..The problem could be getting Margarito a license to fight in Nevada, New Jersey or New york since those were the places mentioned to do the fight..As of right now Margarito's boxing license is suspended in Texas until his doctor fully clears him..
