i can't help but imagine this fight as pure ******ed, two punching machines that dont take a backstep, block punches with their faces(williams more so) except one lacks power and chin has been cracked, yea, i'd favour pavlik

Yeah cuz neither one ever dissapoints when they are in the ring thats for sure, yeah I could see Williams carving up Pavlik the same way Sergio did, but Imagine if a big right cross landed flush on Williams?!?! Nighty Night

Not this second.I'd prefer a title to be involved. This fight was supposed to happen when Pavlik had his damn title. As it is,I'm just pissed off that all kinds of **** happened since the fight fell apart.

I'm not sure. I would like to see what each fighter is still brining to the table. Never had a problem with Pavlik's style but with all his time off he should have went to the drawing board and now know how to deal better with movement. If Williams hasn't improved his defense or learned how to fight tall then my answer on do I still want to see this fight is probably "NO". Even though I still watch them I can't stand when fighters don't work on there weaknesses it shows a lack of dedication to get better IMO. Berto, Williams and Pavlik haven't improved in years. I mean this is your job WTF have you all been doing? That **** goes for basketball players as well not improving on obvious flaws is just being lazy IMO.

That would be a great fight.

I remember I was just about set to see this fight in AC in September if 09 as my first big boxing fight live. Then it went to hell smh

let it build and yes. maybe next summer or spring at the latest
unless both men are seriously diminished i cant see how that would be anything but a dynamite fight.

unfortunately, paul williams (who claims to be a WW,) would have to fight as a SMW because kelly pavlik is never going to weigh 160 lbs again.

If Williams has a comeback fight and wins it soon, and Pavlik wins this Saturday then yes I would still like to see this fight.
