Haye's Latest Blog "Operation Wind up Wlad" was Successful

I probably shouldn't get as much satisfaction and enjoyment from pissing another human being off, but I simply can't help it. Whenever smoke appears from Wladimir Klitschko's ears, it makes me howl with laughter and want to wind him up even more.

I had the chance to practice my favourite hobby last week in New York, when the two of us sat across a table from one another and recorded a pre-fight promo for HBO. Commentator Max Kellerman was positioned between us, and acted as unofficial referee, but it was great to finally sit down with Wladimir and realise what a sensitive, emotional and fragile character I'll be going up against on July 2nd.

Every little taunt and insult I threw in his direction seemed to chip away at his soul, and there were even a few occasions when I wasn't sure whether he was going to climb across the table or break down in tears. If we weren't sure of the fact before, it's now clear Wladimir Klitschko hates my guts!

Both Klitschko sisters are known for their serious approach to boxing and life, and I really think that will be one of their many downfalls against me. Wladimir is reading to much into every little thing I say, and it's getting to him. I don't think he's ever hated an opponent as much as he hates me and, as far as I'm concerned, that is fantastic news.

I want to fight a pissed off Wladimir Klitschko and I want to fight a Wladimir Klitschko that actually comes to fight and prove a point. History has told us that when Wladimir likes and respects his opponent, he usually reaches out and embraces them in a 12-round, 36-minute hug-fest. I desperately don't want to be a part of that!

With the 'Wind Up Wladimir' operation complete, I returned to London last Wednesday and, while it was sad to wave Miami and New York goodbye, it's good to be home and even better to see the sun shining and blue skies up ahead. It seems as though I returned home at just the right time. My training will now continue in London and, with the foundations already laid down in Miami, I can't wait to find that next gear and really push myself through the pain barrier.

In terms of inspiration, this Saturday's mega-fight between Manny Pacquiao and 'Sugar' Shane Mosley should do the trick, as both future Hall-of-Famers go to war in the welterweight division. I'll be watching the fight as reward for a hard late-night training session and I can't wait to see two of my all-time heroes go up against each other.

I've followed both Manny and Shane for years now and often watch videos of both of them before fights of my own. They are two of my favourite fighters and, as much as it will be exciting to watch them fight, it's also quite sad knowing that one of them will probably have to lose. They really are two of boxing's nice guys.

As for a prediction, it's hard to say with any certainty, as both men have the tools to get the job done. Manny will obviously have an edge in speed and explosiveness, while Mosley might hit a tad harder, as he's the naturally bigger man. Mosley is also known for his granite chin, and has never been stopped in his pro career to date. If Pacquiao can somehow become the first guy to stop Mosley, that would send out a massive statement and would confirm 'Pac Man' as one of the hardest punchers in the world...

    Peace.

    David Haye

Do you honestly believe either of the Klits is silly enough to fall for Hayes antics? Both brothers are very very clever people and are masters at mind games. I wouldnt be at all surprised If wlad is playing along and acting all annoyed just to fool haye into thinking he has him rattled. I expect the same calculating measured wlad to enter the ring on fight night and take haye apart in a vicous manner over the course of 6 rounds or more. The interesting thing I think in this fight is to see how Haye will react and try to take away wlads jab. Haye knows deep down that he has on helluva mountain to climb. I hope for the fans sake he is ready to take some shots and push above and beyond the pain barrier to try and conquer wlad. I for one think haye will be good for about 3-4 rounds and if he cannot take wlad out he will start to fall apart from the jabs and right hands eventually falling in a round after the 6th.

i think they are both very overly serious, uptight and very arrogant.

Wlad especially will fall to haye's tactics, vitali wouldnt be to bothered, haye might even just get to vitali by praising him and making vitali believe his own praise!.

Wlad will want to be more aggresive but wont really be at all as he will just be more open to counters and more likely to gas out,

he will be tactical, want to take haye's energy and speed from him by just leaning and grabbing only for the first few rounds and not even really doing anything but jabbing and leaning. but haye will be able to deal with attempts of leaning and holding with his own speed reflexes and strength.Haye will use looping overhand potshots.

Really how many times has that actually happened if Wlad's 58 total fights?

Haye can talk all he wants

The only winding up Wlad will be doing is winding up a big right hand that knocks Haye the **** out

I don't share that opinion, the suspense because you know the stoppage is coming make its interesting even if things at times are slow in the fight.

Thats quite a contradiction in terms there......

The point is, Wlad doesnt go out looking for KO's it merely happens because he breaks down his opponents long enough and then they collapse....but it isnt a pretty sight to watch

Wlad will only let his punches go once he knows you have nothing left in his opponents tank, or are genuinely hurt.......even his own trainer screams at him.....

Considering how sub standard his opposition is, and all the physical advantages he holds, he should be doing much better
