Mayweather vs Ortiz is a better fight than either of Pac's last 3 opponents combined!

Put Ortiz against those 3 and see what his record would be.

What would his record be? Have you seen Ortiz fight any of those 3 guys?

The funny thing is you were probably criticizing Berto for fighting Ortiz.

You are a disgrace. Every post you make is a disservice to the city of Chicago and the Chicago Bears.

So Mayweather, a Welterweight since 2005 fighting a former JWW who got beat up and quit against a C class fighter maidana is a better fight than Pacquiao vs Clottey,Margarito and Mosley???

Its funny that people claim ortiz is acutally a threat.

Who the **** ortiz has beaten outside an overated Berto who fought nothing but tomato can and cherry picked ortiz because Ortiz looked really really bad against both Peterson and Maidana.

Ortiz cant handle non stop pressure(that is the main reason he quit against maidana). Dude has 0 defense, has questionable chin, questionable stamina and you expect me to believe he have a chance against floyd especially after he look so bad against peterson. You know why ortiz beat berto. Because berto also has questionable chin, ****ty stamina and is an one handed fighter. **** we found that out with Collazo.

And the funny thing i feel Ortiz would lose against pacquaio version of Margarito(ortiz cant handle pressure) and clottey(clottey high guard would frustrate ortiz). And both of those style would test Ortiz mentality and composure.

If true this fight really shows why Mayweather is the PPV king, he's perfect at timing when and who he fights.

Ortiz before Berto, he's shot and not the same?
After Berto, you know the rest.

Either way I think it's good on paper but Mayweather going to school Ortiz unless Ortiz figures out how to do smart pressure.

Seriously though, it's an ok fight against a B class fighter (if it's more than just a rumor). It will be completely overshadowed by Pacquiao-Marquez if it pops off in the fall. Plus, neither guy has any real fan base in Dallas, so that could turn into a commercial disaster. But an ok scrap either way if it goes down.
Im a Pac and Floyd fan. I would definately rather them face each other or Sergio Martinez.

The problem with your point is that here is the list of Pacs previous opponents

Mosley last 2 fights before Pac a Mayweather loss and draw with Sergio Mora

Margarito last 2 fights ago looks bad and wins vs Garcia and gets Ko vs Mosley

Clottey last 2 fights a win over Judah and a loss to Miguel Cotto

Cotto last 3 fights was a good win over Clottey a easy win over Jennings and a KO Loss to Margacheato

Hatton last 3 fights a good KO win vs Mallinaggi a tough win vs Lascano and a KO loss to Mayweather

De La Hoya last 2 fights a win over Forbes and a loss to Mayweather

Not sure I've seen anyone say Ortiz could beat Mayweather.

He won't, but like I said. Depending on how Ortiz is motivated for the fight, it can be competitive for the first 6 rounds.

I don't see that happening but I respect your opinion brother.
