Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum had a smile on his face when he was advised that Floyd Mayweather Jr. had no intention of watching Saturday's fight between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley, which takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Instead, Mayweather said he plans to watch the Lady Gaga concert on HBO, which Floyd called the "best network" - an obvious shot at Pacquiao-Mosley being carried on Showtime Pay-Pay-View.

so what's wrong with catchweight? if you followed PACQUIAO's career you're not going to belittle him because he is just a small fighter in reality. he was just compelled to go up in weight (even those actually no longer his territory) because arum would always put him in a dangerous fight so he can sell the fight well. we have weight divisions to protect the life of the boxer and to set an even playing field. pacquiao has never asked for too much on catchweights and always abided by the agreements unlike floyd in his marquez outing.
