It's no secret that Team Cotto has cherry picked his last two opponents. However, Foreman was a legit titlist and Mayorga is proven fight seller. I don't see a problem with those two comeback fights; Cotto has fought elite opponent after elite opponent for years and deserves softer opposition coming off the brutal beatdown of Pacquaio.
Cotto is reinventing himself so that he can prolong his career so fighting handpicked opponents seems like the sensible thing to do right now...Comment

Its pretty disappointing that Jr is the sub for Marg because he is just a terrible fighter with no natural talent, still we have to keep in mind that many ppl thought Yuri was going to beat Cotto.Comment

Miguels resume speaks for itself. The only other fights I'd like to see him in are the ones where he's trying to avenge his losses or a crack at Mayweather, anything else is irrelevant I believe. He's paid his dues.. idc who he fights because I like his style, in-ring and out.Comment

Agreed. He's clearly not the same anymore so I think he needs to stay away from fights that can seriously **** him up, like a rematch with Pac or against Sergio Martinez (though I would like to see that fight). Maybe as a last fight or something we can see a big challenge for him, but I think he's one big beating away from retirement.Comment
