Berto and Ortiz have already already produced a leading contender for fight of the year (at 147 and not 140,idiot!), both are legitimate welterweights and not "no names" as you so wrongly put it.
Facing Williams is a point of improving Manny's "legacy" and has nothing to do with "intelligence" (something that you as an American, would know very little about). Receiving slightly less money(as Mosley has never possessed much financial pull) and actually taking a risk for the first time in years is a moral choice, something that would be remembered by the real fans of boxing in years to come, wether win, lose or draw.
Any attempt by you to try and assert an opinion to the contrary, will only provide yet further evidence of your burgeoning ignorance. But don't worry you f@g, Pac says he'll fight 6 more fights before retiring. After Mosley, I'm sure Marquez, and then no more old guys, well maybe except Cotto rematch. So that leaves 3 vacant for young studs like Berto, Ortiz, Bradly, Khan, etc... to upgrade their stocks.
