who is this floyd mayweather guy? he's not even ranked, why do we care about him and why are they talking about him fighting the p4p king? He needs to fight someone good to get ranked and THEN come talk about a Pacquiao fight.

It has nothing to do with scared of someone taking PEDS.

It's simple, he's scared of actually almost dying like Hatton. Wouldn't you?

If you think about it, Mayweather came out after Pacquiao beat Oscar. He went around saying it's time to come out and make some big money. Then during the Pacquiao v. Hatton weigh in, he came out saying, he's now back and is still the best P4P. Remember that?

Then the shocker. Hatton almost died in the ring. Did we hear anything more from Mayweather after that about making big money against Pacquiao? NO! What we heard next was PED stuff instead, LOL.

Do you actually believe that Mayweather would have still fought if Pacquiao had agreed to everything Mayweather wanted? NO, he would have found some other excuse, like he is doing now. Do I think we will ever see Mayweather agree to fight Pacquiao? No because he's scared of dying in the ring, it's simple, no need to over analyse it.
Overstating Pac's power makes me wonder if you actually watch boxing. So now Floyd is scared to "die" from Pac's power when they have roughly the same KO rate? It's one thing if you believe Pac is some type of monster, but the numbers don't lie. He an accumulation fighter, not a one punch KO artist. Geez!

When will they drop him out entirely from the pound for pound list? i guess really soon.
ESPN already did. I am not a fan of Pac but if Floyd keeps sticking around the sport without fighting then he is next on my list of fighters I am not a fan of for one reason or the other. It's a damn shame that you have two very good fighters with huge fan bases but just won't fight each other. One because he is scared of blood tests and the other because he keeps retiring. The ghost of Joe Louis needs to come back from the grave and smack these two in their faces. Hell, Hagler and Leonard should do it. So many fighters today are nothing but emotional cry babies. Then, you have the sport $H!tting on guys like Martinez who would fight both with no issues. As long as the fans of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr keep cosigning them acting like B!tches, we will not get a fight between them. The biggest road block of them all is Bob Arum by far. Using his grudges to stop the fights from being made. Boxing needs a make over big time.

If Martinez had HALF the fanbase and drawing power Pacquiao and Martinez did, he would act the exact same way. Don't kid yourself about that. Of course he would fight Pacquiao and Mayweather with no issue, he wants to get paid. That's true of every fighter in the sport.

I guess you may have a point. Once the money comes in then everything changes. Unfortunately.
